There is no rush, tomorrow you can have more troops again.
I am generally aiming for about being 5 levels down from what is the max level that can be reached, so since we can do level 30 now, I will aim for about 25 till tomorrow when I can recruit more. Side battles should be a touch higher, since there are 6 battles for every 5 of the main one.
Since you have got further on the main route than I(I'm only at 22) you should be able to do lots of the traitor side quests for extra armaments. These are very significant and should be prioritised the moment you have reached a stopping point with recruiting (more silver and glory does not make battles easier until it can increase meaningful troops count, but armaments will).
I have got to traitor level 29 in min AP with a smaller army than you, so you should be able to get quite a few buffs for your troops which may edge it with future main levels. |
I've had a look at https://hwm.events/ffa but this seems to only show main levels.
Is there a list anywhere for side battles? Even just the order for the armament ones? level 30 was quite a lot of custodians which had sufficient meat that the pain mirror was reducing my army quite a lot. Beating the next level for those I think would need a second shooter stack and an attack build to mean that melee losses from mirror was less. |

| Thanks, 31 is a touch too hard with my army at the minute in min AP, should be OK tomorrow. I only even bothered when I misinterpreted the russian translation. It said Kirins, which for some reason I thought of tritons, whereas it is the aquatic serpents, a troop I do not have a building for yet and have no reason to go for armaments for until later. |
I'm below lvl12 so I cannot pass beyond 30, however I wanted to complete side quests, but they are grayed out.

| Because when i was at lvl29, i could do side quests and advance, why should i be blocked when i reach lvl30. it is a bug. |
Hello all,
Maybe I misread the rules of the event.
Did they change the rules? Only level 12 and above are eligible to go on after level 30.
This means that everyone under level 12, has no chance of obtaining a higher rank in the event.

| For those fellow cheap skates(or financially efficient if you prefer) I can confirm up to level 30 in main and side are doable in min ap |
| How useful are the top tier in this? Obviously we will need them to progress much beyond level 30 just wondering where the utility of a split stack of custodians is better than just a single aquatic serpent and therefore save until I can get a few. |
| Also how often can you do hailstorm? Is it a one off thing, or something like pounce which you can do every 3rd turn? |
