Because it's pointless. Enemy target crossbow or royal griffin. Multiple ranged unit and mage with weakness spell will decimated crossbow by 2nd turn. |

pointless? |
That’s not hard tbh |
protected xbow wins that easy imo |
That's weird. Any particular reason you choose that stage which I passed instead other stages that I lose all matches ? |
I mean the original question I asked was anyone passed stage 6-2. And somehow it goes into being offended that crossbow not protect. |
I just pulled a random one while looking through losses to give advice.

The same advice applies to this one which you didn't pass. |
Yes of course. Overwhelming defeat can turn into victory just by guarding crossbow which firstly targeted by enemy troops btw. Good to know. |
Seems more interesting to play this event as nature wizzie. I don't know for later stages, but as it is, it works fine |

I don't see how this battle is winnable.

You can change faction. Pick one that can counter that enemy best. |
The PoS and armaments will only cost you 20k, thank you very much. |

you swap to necro |
I've been doing Necro + Tribal. Have been able to choose my path for most fights.
Does require very slow and thoughtful games though.
Hard event, but also fun so far. No complaints. |
The fights are all visible in combat log, so you can check out build from there. |
Wow. Didn't know necro can be so good against such kind of enemy. |
