But...but...

My sincerest apologies. Back then, I was a young brat with a lot of time in his hands, read VACATION.
really? What about players who already lost 3-4 fights in 20 waves compared to those who lost none? No difference in points and skill? And this is 20 waves, the difference will surely be greater with 80 waves.

I think there is a dynamic balancing in play. Those who lose get easier fights. The event description says ranks drop on losing fights, and I take it to mean this.
So there won't be a huge variation in win-%.

The point I was trying to make is that clans are not prepared to have 200 players fight 80 2v2 fights. It's not just that these require a lot more time, it's also that they require co-ordination among players to fix playing times which is simply not the same otherwise.

I left because I have very erratic play times which make it impossible to commit to a partner.
Obviously there is an option of playing with random partners from clan, but that's where strategy goes out the window, and win-rates drop and I stop having fun.
I know that I'm not the only one who has these constraints.

Anyway, we'll see by the end how it ends up. Maybe people find builds that can be mirrored towards the end of the event.

so now you will give it a +1

And during Christmas break again go with -1?

interesting.
for The One Ring:
I see a big spread of points between people who finished 30 waves. I wonder what win% has to do with clan standings since that's what you mentioned in the earlier post. Make up your mind, will you?

Clan that wins won't be the one that has good players, but one where people manage to finish 80 battles with partner from clan.
This event have thing i still want to know. Diffirent factions and subclasses get diffirent enemy and difficulty or its same for all?
If you say its same need examples aswell
Diffirent factions and subclasses get diffirent enemy and difficulty
for latviesu lords:
Wish i could help you with examples mate. But its an impossible mission due to private battles and everyone seems to be going with DE. Even if that weren't the case, the variation from one battle to another is pretty significant so it would be hard to judge how faction/class affected the difficulty.
for Meshy:
Really? How do you figure?

Also, are we saying that two lvl 15 classic barbarians fighting at wave 30 will have exactly same enemy as two other lvl 15 classic barbarians at wave 30? What if one of the team switches to fury, then how does it compare?

What if one team has 5 losses while other has 3, but have the same pirate rank. What if the ranks are different?

Too many factors that can determine difficulty imo, you would need explicit statements to say what you said.

Life change things change, short sight doesn't help much.
Remember that. :)

what. You're going out of your way to misunderstand.

Yes. Makes perfect sense in my mind.

Thats alot of pvp fights.

I think this event is made to be played with single partner for best result.
In conclusion one ring is complaining that top clans with their stupid recruiting system will suffer now.
I still see more or less same clans at top positions.
In the end its always about clan with *active* 200 players, not just 200 players.
for Doug Judy:
Thats not the only way to suffer.
Silver: 228
Silver Total: 1,038

Victories / Combats: 28 / 30

Two battles which we lost were so hard its like we were destined to lose, no matter what.
Rest were fairly easy.. although battles became boring ( for me ) already, and today is just 3rd day! sigh.
the beaver came in a battle

Nice
How is everyone with these battles? I'm at 16W and 4L.

Victories / Combats: 27 / 30

So far feeling very lucky even while being one of the worst players in this game :)
The hardest opponents so far for me were those 2 morale+3 luck offensive stat Pirates, miracously( or how this weird word is pronounced) those casters weren't that hard...maybe because as a necro I chose to have those anti magic stats.
for jahadad:

Nice. I'm at 21/27 right now. Not doing too hot.

Anyone a captain yet? How are the potions?
Clan that wins won't be the one that has good players, but one where people manage to finish 80 battles with partner from clan.

This is completely wrong, this is one of those events where a clan with good players and strategies actually win, by this I mean where all 200 of them have to be good and use their own strategies and not like previous clan events(LeG) where one can finish and post his battles
But to get clan points, you have to play WITH clan players.. so in the end its all about finishing all 80 battles with partner from clan.
Unlike LeG events, perfect clan score here is next to impossible. :)
