To me, a troop with 8 speed, after taking retal (and has 100 def) will run back out of reach from enemy so unlikely to be hit again.

Cowardice, triple strike, knockback, tribal spirit, inflame
With cowardice the goblin will be retaliated thus run before triggering triple strike. If the ennemy was already retaliated to use triple strike there's still a chance to lose hits by moving the ennemy one square out of melee range with knockback. Inflame is almost impossible to use since it will run when hit or is retaliated. If the ennemy is not retaliated, cowardice and tribal spirit will cancel out for a 0 spirit gain from attacks.

Adapt makes huge def useless, easily killed by mage , movement can be easily restricted as it is large creature | Gargoyle magician

Wild reflexes and Unlimited retaliation are useless. This guy runs at every hit, and never gets cornered (flyer) :)) | Master of disaster.

Legend says these guys make bad mercenaries. How does it comes that they are richer then empire herself :P

I think there is no creature with this ability.
