I lost several times today before I won it. I was not using the same army each time, rather changing it based upon what I perceived to be a more likely to win combination. The primary reason for not winning was therefore army selection rather than any random luck triggers. Should my judgement of what would be best to win be better I could have won straight away. I am confident I could use the same army to win repeatedly, of course the margin would vary, but it would still be a win in most instances.
The fact that I lost is a matter of my skill level in selecting a suitable army that could win, no one made me risk that gold in finding out. However, I am sufficiently confident that I could find a combination that would win, and have sufficient gold without anything meangful to spend it on that I do not really mind.
I take this as just another thing that people could do if they want, but do not have to.
I recognise that the more different things you can do that there are, then since most people spend a fairly fixed amount of time on this game, the inevitable conclusion is that they will spend less time on PvP based things, and this is a shame. However, standing still is not a good solution going forward, trying something is only sensible and right, even if people will not agree whether it was the right choice or not. |

So if you lose 20-30 battles that is 20k? While that isn't a negligible amount, it is far from anything that gets people broke at our levels.
I am guessing if you are losing that many battles in the first place spending all the time plus money, then you must really love to play this event so there is no point complaining in the first place.
This is what i think. And i am in no way a fan of Leader's guild, rather i dislike it. |

Tomorrow from 00:00 the following changes will be introduced:
Rebalanced - all battles are won only by ordinary and rare creatures (gray and brown), this is not the final option, we will look at the statistics. While the percentage of player wins does not suit us, it is very low.
Enemy heroes have their luck removed, and morale cannot exceed 1. |

@virtual_vitrea It's like 1800 gold per loss, so 20 battles is not 20k but almost double of that and 36k, and that is a lot of gold. 30 losses would even set that to 54k. Amounts like these can easily get people to go broke in no time.
But looks like even the admins admitted that the succes rate is very low and the luck and morale triggering caused tons of losses, they decided to remove luck and put morale back to just 1. And that the battles will be so that it can be won with just ordinary and rare creatures, I'll believe itt when I see it. I guess the backlash on ru was overwhelming. Serves them right. |
| I very much welcome this update. In my opinion leaders guild is not killing this game. On the contrary I think it is an essential revitalization of the game. Finally there's a way to compete between combat levels in addition to the ordinary fights. The old mixed tournaments (for example) were horrible, totally unplayable for most lower CL players. Now, as soon as you have some decent common and uncommon troops, you'll be able to fight players who already spent years on here. |

Well high levels still have advantage, also people spending money in game have advantage. How does that makes sense. Same old problems ruining game. |

| Yeah, I one shot it too, not enough troops left to be competitive, though gold, scroll and LeG points so nothing to moan about. |

So far I'm using the same army setup that I have for all the LG battles (I'm too lazy to change it every time).
Did 2 battles so far and won them both on the first try. So far there is money to be made from this special battle :) |

| In the result with the % of the first day of this you can click upon the % to see how they did it, well you are supposed to, since it then sais battle review is not available. Good one admins. |

After changes there are light in the tunnel :) Bears do it well on day 3 too. If you have Magi, Bmagi, or Succubi you can aim first positions.
