I do not feel the troop is that great, hence I wont be donating to get it (like i got wolves). I still have some diamonds on hand so I'll wait for a donation art before buying more than 20 diamonds. |

I see. Your posts on this page seemed to be contradicting what you said about regularly donating in #40. Guess "regularly" for you means only when MUCH superior rewards were given. My misunderstanding.
On another note, I don't think you can call wolves being practically better. Perhaps if you were the type that did not believe in resurrecting your usual troops, then wolves would actually see some play. So going by your logic of worthy offer at the time of wolf release versus now, you are just carrying those wolves as a badge of crappy decision already made :p
Or maybe back then the allure of the new and shiny epic drove that legitimate decision? What do other guys think about these crusaders in terms of the leadership costs?
I would like to know for certain how the wolves' leadership costs changed following the previous promotion period. |

My regular donations occur mostly when I have dropped down to 0 diamonds. If there is an art donation event, I tend to buy more, otherwise just enough to carry me for a month or so.
I never thought my wolves were crappy, and I still dont. They just do not fit my current build, I could easily change my build to include wolves when I get bored of trolls.

And my logic is what exactly? You seem to be trying to just put words in my mouth tbh. I liked wolves and thought they would be useful, I dont think the same for crusaders and therefore I'm not getting them.
I liked wolves because they had high ini and bravery ability.

| I think crusaders current cost is reasonable and would regularly see use, particularly against undead troops. However, the benefit of diamonds is pretty much only for speeding up mg quests on bonus days and I earn enough on events for my available time on those days. If I had both I can see me using crusaders more, but I have neither. Of course the price will likely rise and then perhaps they will not be used, but so far bonus troops seen to move less in price (eg trolls have stayed static) |

Hi, I am considering to use this opportunity to get some discount diamonds plus the bonuses. Please let me know if some of my assumptions here are wrong:
When I pay for 137 diamonds I get 110% which is 150.7, right?
At the same time, I get an epic stack of creatures, six rare stacks and 15 chests of abundance, right?
And last one which I am a little more doubtful, but maybe someone already tried: If I try to buy the diamonds part by part (hoping that maybe I will stop after I get a really nice rare stack), do I still get the epic stack if I eventually buy the total of 150 diamonds?

The number of chests you get is dependent on your final diamonds bought in that transaction.
If you come out with 150.7 diamond (137*1.1), you will get 15 chests of abundance.
On the last time this promotion was run, if you donate enough diamonds through the period, even if multiple transactions, you'll get the epic troop. |

Well it plain and clearly sais 'Donate and get 10% bonus to diamonds'. With that the 10% bonus should not take part in the donation. Also 150 diamonds exactly is insufficient, since it clearly sais 'for donation of more than 150 diamonds.' Since you get a rare stack for every 25 diamonds, they want you to get at least a bit over 159 diamonds to receive 175 diamonds to get 7 rare stacks and the epic it seems.
Can someone clarify?

When I came back to game after a long break and saw the different version of crusader, I thought they just added shiny effects to troops in AG :(
They really should give it a different name.

Buy over than 150dia to get epic troops, and stack troops, get 10% bonus, 15 chest of abundance.
Um...my self rather buy diamond at 10-30% bonus with arts bonus :)
