This topic made me curious and I searched my combat log.
If I counted it correctly, there are 16 possible caravan setups
(when you go to character page and look on factions from up to down it is 2+2+1+2+1+2+2+3+1=16).
Dwarves are 3/16=18.75%
I guess Nowar is right. Dwarves can be might, holy and chaos, others 2 setups, and wizards, barbs and tribals only 1 setup.
Last 100 ambushes: dwarf - 19 times, wizard, tribals and barbs 3-8times. | Recently started TG again, faced dwarves 7 times in a row, 1 gap, 2 times in a row again.
Played 22 TGs today, 9 were dwarves. | Hmm not 7 times, but 5 times.. checked wrongly.
Still ratio of occurring is very high. |
