I have that kind of army and I am pretty satisfied with it....u see it takes 2 turns to reach there but once I am there it is havoc for enemy and tale shooters for bait...I have lost 2 battles and notj due to crappy partnerss but now 4 -7 level battles I can win alone also ( unless botj necro come ) |

about 1000 crystals?
I am happy with my army of rocs, firebirds, dark rocs , spawns, imps and Magic guild lvl 1.
the birds can attack in first turn.
And in turn 2 (after i have blessed my spawns and imps) they can clean up the battlefield.
Perhaps take 1-2 shooter stacks as bait with you. |
IMO get tier 1 and 2 units.
50+ boars 90+vermins 60+ fiends 90+ incens and 60+ spawns of any shooters and a stack of gobs warlocks with hall of unity.
So far good with lvl 15 opponents |
i have 1275 crystals.
45 Cerberi, 45 Blazing hounds, 48 forest breth, 56 wardens, 65 master spears and some pts in parameters.
set your troops in right place, you can kill 40 to 70% of your enemy in first turn |
Pressing the parameters have become way more expensive as well.
For example pressing recruit count % from 19 to 20 used to be only 43 crystals, now it's 100 crystals. For just a total of 400 crystals one could press it all the way to 20%, now the same costs 718 crystals. Recruitment costs have gone up as well after the initial buy, also you get practicly half the units, used to be 11 grotesques and now it's only 6. So we get 1/3th of the crystals and everything costs more and units are trimmed. Way to make a nice event go into extinct. But the lack of posts about the event here? Now that there sais it all. |

for Lawton:
I feel that even with higher crystal prices for everything, event is better than some of the previous versions, where you could get a huge army, but sometimes you would end up facing an unbeatable enemy. Imo, it is better to have less troops, but an enemy which is possible to win against.
Btw, nice move by admins, extending the event for more 2 days but not increasing the total number of battles. Really needed. :) |
| with good teamwork from a reliable partner this event is really easy... the only times it gets more challenging is when your enemy is getting luck all the time :D |

| Probably so you can't copy other people's armies, otherwise everybody would just copy the army of the guy at the top of the leaderboard. |
