With the introduction of Holy Knight class, seems like for Knights (or at least at highest levels), it's a different ball game altogether now.
I was pretty confident of doing well after my attempts, but to my surprise, the top 2 at my level both used Holy Knight build (!)
With all the things to do and take care of from the merge, I didn't had the time to play (played 1 super easy hunt battle) and get to know this alt class well.
But judging from the battles of the Top 2 I saw, it seems that ST for Knight now is less about strategy and tactics. The only strategy and tactics in ST for knights now * MAY * be --> Throw your grandma under the bus if you have to, but protect your shooters (and phantoms) at all cost ! :)
If this is true, this has taken all the fun out of ST, for me anyways.
Not an excuse though (gratz to the top 2 for my level/faction), just thought I would highlight this to all players who have Knight or Demon as main faction. The alt classes may (IS?) now be the better choice for STs from now on, so may be worth exploring. )

With Holy Knight (and alt Demon too?) build having a totally different racial ability, troops' abilities, and build altogether, it may take 2-3 STs before .com players get used to them.
So relative to this topic -- How good (or bad) .com players are in STs for these 2 factions won't be known till about 1-2 months later. :) |

no. first place played from two stacks of shooters & phantoms, second - from one and his phantom. it is different tactics yet)

new class, new tactics? or play all time by one template?
