Hi, I just switched to necro at level 8 and I'm at 0 faction level.
Does anyone have good tips to get fsp quick?

And I'm using bas. erudition and dominion of life as talents.
do monster type MG quests, they're the easiest for necro at level 8 with inf.zombies

or some easy raids, hunts
would it be ok to do MG monster quest w/o inf. zombies?
I don't have enough for them :(
yes,if the monster is not too high on defence, get mana and use disrupt ray. probably with dark magic talent.

does anyone have a record for level 5 necromancers beating vanguard of demons?
it is impossible for a necro lvl 5 to beat vanguard of demon.
2 devil stack could kill vamp and ghost easily.
dont forget about the agile cerberi with spray attack.

Something different i should do?

I saw two mistakes mine, first one vampire position, i underestimated her and 1 ghost stack putting on golem range...

But i still think that 2 mistakes cannot change the battle...
necro on lvl 5 can't beat wizz and that's a fact...
accept it...
nowhere to drink and you can't stand magic...
after lvl 10 it changes a bit (hp boost from appa's)...
I remember i beat wiz easy, but not remember if at lvl 6 or 7...

With my older acc before bow...

Agree at level 10 you get apps and they are amazing, but only 1 unit don't change the battlefield.

I also got vamps, skels (lot more cause of fsp) and infected...

Against genies, man they are so weak. :) and modern golems, strong but slow and easy to control...

Also modern golems are a prey for vampires...

Mainly and only problem is wiz hero, he got more hp from troops, but less troops strength from troops, so think i its more even.

But backing to my reality im still level 5, maybe i have no chance at 5, but at 6 or 7 i'll have.

Strategy for me, i don't play with necro a long long time.
well even though i'm not a necro i have an input to make. ghosts have low hp and their ability incorpreal doesn't help against magic. so when ghosts are killed the skels low hp is again making a necro prey to magic.
It is, maybe i just need more fsp, i remember when i won wiz i won because i was with more range power than wiz magic.

maybe i was full ap and he was min ap, don't remember, this fight happen a long time ago.

sad darkness magic don't works well on wiz army.

i'll try again when i level up.
Hey, im a lvl 8 necromancer and have just enough money to get a full set of the best arts at my level w/o enchants. i bought the light mythril boots and armor, so i already have 10% magic proof (i believe its additive, right?) so my option for the cape is to get another 15% magic proof (forgot the name of the cloak, sorry :/) or should i go with a diff cape like one with spell power etc.? also, should i go ring of doubts for the luck or would ring of abdication work better? i bout pendant of despair so i do NOT have any luck as it is. This set up is mainly for ambushes and merc quest, if that helps anyone. Please, any advice would be nice :)
for cape, go for Cape of magical power(+2 spellpower). 15%magic proof doesnt mean much to your level.

for ring, i suggest ring of doubt
I'm worried about in thief ambushes when i get caravans such as DE or wiz (the lightning spell is very annoying), which is why i was thinking magic proof.

As far as the rings, I may go for a variation with one of each. that way my shooters would nearly always go before enemy shooters and i would still have luck on my side.

Thieving in max AP is expensive

best setup can be Steel set+Som+Luck amulet with no rings
As for the cloak, Use Cape of Winds.

Max infected zombie is also considerable
for TheMarsh:
go for magic proof cloak unless you will be using darkness spells.
you can also go for the bow also which gives +10% increase range damage

ring of doubt is good if you can afford it

for merc quest, do not do them in full AP , since its not worth it
I strongly advice to do thiefing in min AP only. Due to dynamic balancing your win ratio in the end will be the same no matter what arts you wear. The only diffrence is that with more ap you can win more fights in a row before you hit the roof. Since gold is hard to come by these days I would think twice for any extra art in ambushs.

My suggestion if you want to have some initiative is leather hat+ leather jackboots + SoM = +5%ini + 5attack
I would advise min AP too. I don't use to bother about ini, considering that AI will always move first, unless you use full arts (depending on levels, they have roughly +15% ini). Just pick one of the many cheap sets with defender shield you can find. You'll probably want to pick amulet of luck, too. Magic proof is good, but only helps against approx. 50% of caravans, so I don't pick that. Attack or defense are always usefull instead, even against destruction caravans.

As for some caravans, you should get used to it, roughly, every faction is weak to some caravans and is bound to keep on loosing to it. I don't remember ever winning against the one with devils, the one with pit demons, and the ones with black dragons as wizzy, for exemple, no matter what recruit setup / talents I use.
