If 1 person spends 20 weeks to get a record, and is competent (or even worse quite skilled), then you will most likely need to spend 20 weeks or ore to take that record.
Getting a record should be complicated. If it's easy it keeps getting broken until it becomes difficult anyway.
I think it was very easy for Zehir to make most of his records. And now the game rules were changed so that the new players have no chances to repeat even 1/10 of Zehirs achievements.
I think that if the game wants to attract more new players they should give more possibilities for them than to the old players and not less as it was done here.
P.S. I'm not talking about myself here, I'm not a new player (I only had some 8 months break). And I will have enough records.
But I don't see many records made by really new players. | Well, this idea will probably annoy some players, but if you're really concerned about hunter records, you can just destroy them until about level 8 or 9. At that level, it becomes almost pointless to level camp because most other players have almost the same faction levels (give or take 1 or 2 points, which doesn't really make a difference).
For the people who are worried about hunter records they already have, you can always create a multi and go at them again. After all, it doesn't take that long to gain a couple of levels, and everyone who starts the game anew will have the same "possibilities." | if you don't want to become weaker it's better to lose
You are talking about losing 0.25 skillpoints. Maybe you should think about how much you need to really have a positive effect 0.o
You actually need 173 for your next effect, thats 692 times 0.25, besides this effect being 2% initiative.
Actually the chance for you to get a player with a different skilllevel than you by these 0.25 points is 0.1%, meaning that you will have the bonus you are talking about in one of 1000 fights.
You can't really tell me that these 2% initiative make you SO much stronger when you have them. 2% mean that you get after 50 turns ONE extra turn. Thats very insignificant in my eyes. | besides this effect being 2% initiative
It is also bigger spell damage in hunts and better mini-arts.
And it's not one hunt-assist with such afk or nearly afk players but many, and in the end the amount of lost skill points is quite big. As if it weren't bad enough having to fight with an afk. |
