ummm... but you are doing tg as a DE
i change between DE and Elf much ... when i feel caravans are hard for elf i go for DE and when i feel they are hard for DE i go for elf :D
It is possible, but pretty hard without being full arted. It seems that the caravans are harder for Elf than for Dark Elf.
yes , i have the same feeling ... caravans are a bit different IMO too ... i never faced a knight caravan with two griff as elf but i saw one in DE caravans ...

| At combat level 10, Elf is still okay. The only problem is the primary parameters which require potion of oblivion. E.g., for hunting Elf needs 4 knowledge (for two phantoms), while for ambushes, no more than 2 knowledge is recommended. So, you need to know what you would like to do for at least several hours. :) |

DE is not that good in high level, especially for Group Battles, against Knights they are really SUCK .... :) but against Elves, Barbs and Demons they are still great .. :)

| Elf is more kind of 1 vs 1. Put me against someone 1 vs 1 and you see I win. Yes it's right, high initiative is most important. And Luck with a bit of Morale. But it's also true that in Everyone for Oneself Elf rarely stands a chance to win, more is when he has a friend. And in Group Battles he also is not the best but he is the key to win. Everytime there is an Elf in the team there is a big chance of winning because sometimes Elves are the first target meanwhile the teammates go for the opponents and sometimes when Elves survive, Well... They are "DEADLY". |

Elf is more kind of 1 vs 1. Put me against someone 1 vs 1 and you see I win.
only true VS low-ini factions like knight, necro and wizard maybe, but face a good DE, barb or demon and elf is just dead :S |

U r right, in ambush elf can be devastatin with proper ini and luck. Btw, I was talkin in a duel situation, where units r not so close to each other. I'm not an elf now though, but have played with them before, and I can't see them havin a chance in duel VS barb or demon, maybe DE too. |
