I'm very curious how can a knight kill a boss in this event
This true for each faction. So I think the trouble is the overall difculty and not knights stenght vs rebels |
The problem is that alot of the enemies damage ocours b4 inative 11
in fact, you dont have to worry on that. your monk wont be higher priority in most cases. your teammate range unit such as gmb, archo, warchief will be targeted before your monk.
at the same time, your griffin and cavalry will be the following target. hence, a mass evasion on all your troops can actually buy your team more time. |

I meant for either evasion or stoneskin to have effect, you have to cast it on the other faction more fragile creatures. But their simple is not enough time, since they will get attacked by (thunderbirds, shrews, orcs all have higher than initaíative 11) b4 you can cast. And this will occuer 4 times (each in one wave)
If you had to go Buff/Debuff route then you have to get more tahn 11 iniative. Their is rings, but i doubt that it is a good enough answer |
Instead of trying to increase overall troop initiative, just focus on the hero's?
2 master hunter rings of dexterity (+14% initiative to hero) is usually enough to get the hero to act before any of the enemy units. Once you hit level 12, you can get Sorcerer sandals to increase this another 10%. Also, keep in mind that mass spells move the hero back on the ATB scale by less than a full turn, so it's relatively easy to get a strong advantage early on.
As far as playing teams is concerned, just be sure your mates know you intend to help protect them with mass spells. If they place their troops all scattered out, the spells may be less-than-effective. Choosing the talent Tactics can really be helpful in this regard.
Best of luck to everyone, I'm too poor to seriously participate in this event. |

That was why i wrote

I just doubt its good enough... I used it in demon event with great success, but here i doubt it will work. The difficulty is just to big. But it is worth a try, I have the artifacts but don't want to waste 2 potion of Ob. on it, when i believe the chance that it will work is slim to none |
How is knight at level 12-13 without clerics (in this event)?
Still good or is better to wait until you can get clerics? |
he is struggling without magic support from clerics, but i find out fervor is useful to inspire guards to have more turns. |
Someone can summarize all above |
for dinhanh1997:
does summarizing would help you in anyway? |
hey guys i jz switched to knight n i used up almost all my cash on it but i still lack monks, farmer cabins, n all magic...
i currently hav 0 fsp so any advice on what to do execpt from enrolling n all other means of funding?? |
for cyberclops:
you shouldn't change factions when you don't have enough funding. It will cost you many combats and the money you invested won't give optimum refunds.
You may do white hunts, easy merc quests, most probably monster quests since you got xbows.
u have to enroll a lot and get monks.magic is not really required if you lack money.
get the farmer cabins 500 gold probably but it will increase your troops by a little amount these things are not to be skipped. |
for cyberclops:
Since you switched from DE, you will be cursing knights, cause they have so much diferent playing stile. In your place I would switch back and earn enough money so you can afford full castle and then switch back... |
for manti:
yr right im cursing knights, cause as DE i dint hav any shooters to look after all i need to focus on was pure attack...
but i still love xbows aimed shot which totally rocks!!!
for arpit:
i dint know xbows cost 70k... ;(
n by farmer cabins its the recruits upgrade...
should i build it?? |
after a few hunts i found out that the biggest problem i face is lack of troops compared to other knights my lv because of my low fsp....
is there any other way for me to be more sucessful as knight??
im losing a lot of battles although i think i hav a rather complete castle.... |
for cyberclops:
by building the farmer cabins, you will be able to recruit more other troops even if you don't use farmers/recruits. Not much, but it is something...
It is very hard at the begining cause knights are highly dependant on fsp. Until you reach lvl 3 or 4 you are very weak. Monsters and other easy MG quests and easy hunts are almost everything you can do.
Too bad you didn't use the recent anniversary to put 50 fsp to knight, it would help you a lot to start. |
for cyberclops:
manti is right just switch back to DE do MG quests, hunts, enroll and get some descent money and turn back to knight and get the monks and farmer cabins.
It would be more effective and less annoying. |

you have to build ALL castle which give you troops. sum up with knight fsp, you will get more troops. knight is the only faction can NOT skip any castle which provide troops to you.
please hate it, that's how a knight survive. quantity DOES matter for knight. |
for cyberclops:
as other knights say those buildings are a must for a knight, but the increase in troops you will notice once you reach fsp racial 1. |
for cyberclops:
have you built the training chamber? |
for eddy:
yes i hav...
another question...
wat should i max for rebels??
monks-bows-griffs-knights
monks-knights-griffs+bows
or any other thing?? |
