read 2521st and 2522th post in this topic. | after reading page 65, i'm still confused about how to use dark magic effectively or what kind of battle that dark magic is good for because i don't see quite a lot discussion about dark, or is holy better than dark?
and what SP/KN combo that is good for dark spells? because i see that if you're using poison, you'll need great SP to deal nice damage in a (maybe) short turns; but when you're start using disruption ray, SP become completely useless. for confusion looks like it's useless when you can't do the first hit, and that spell doesn't cost cheap too.
also for some talent combos, any comments or suggestions?
fallen knight + rally
twilight
expert dark + 1 dominion
etc

read and understand the situation before you ask for log. hence, you would understand why you cant found much logs regarding dark built | I just reached level 5 so any ideas on which talent should i take. Currently i've taken escort but i hope that there something better than it so plz help | basic leadership will be a nice one.
for offense, is not much use for you since you cannt do huge damage yet.

I am lately having a bit of problem with them | for elf,is just depend on luck.
favoured enemy cause a lot of problem if they set it as swordmen is griff is not use in late combat. You just have to depend on morale so your sword could move faster.
for magic dark elf, their defense is quite weak but their spell will cause a lot of problem with elemental call talent. in this situation, you need to kill their troops asap.
for might dark elf, aim for rogue and shoot lizard when they are near.
mino is not a problem if you have larger sword then them. the stun ability will come in handy | for hpsim:
Thanks | I just turn to lvl 7, whats the best talent should i take, what faction should i be careful when I'm fighting and which faction is the most easiest to kill at lvl 7 | Also what arts should i use with minimum ap 8? | For level 7 it is best to have either morale+rally or luck+escort.At level 7 elf is the easiest to kill for the knight faction. If you want to spend less on artifacts just to get 8 AP,then go for:Reprisal Sword,Defender Shield and Medal of bravery. | M level 10... I used up most of my gold for castle upgrades....
I am short on artifacts... Not a good set...

Well,is just depend on your play style.
you can try to switch from dark to holy or holy to offensive anytime you like.
try different combination and you will find your own ways.
holy magic is quite good for slow hunt when you cast bless,rapid and chastice and expert holy magic.
dark magic is good in group battle for supporting your team with domination of ......
offensive and defensive is the most choice that people choose so you can look for their combat log for referent.
for leadership, fervor is always a good choice to let your guardian or cross to act more.
for fortune, normally player will take expert luck instead of magic resistance or soldier luck but you can try if you want.

You are low on cash, so you should enroll as much as possible and hunt only when you have too. You should only do huts for a while. For hunts I believe you should be a might knight, having maybe 1 knowledge and 2 SP for casting bless on your cross. | [Post deleted by moderator Pang // ] | 2674>
here is my little advices.
1st of all, with you current stats built, you can ignore magic build if you not going to stay long. just focus as might knight, we had alot knights play without magic as well.
2nd, you still can play as might knight even if you are going to stay as knight for long time. you just have to know the strength and weakness of each built before you applied. look, no one wanna get blamed later if you cant fit into certain built :)
3rd, regarding to new knight, low faction give you serious disadvantage in ANY combat. there are 2 way to overcome this: equip more artifacts to gain better stats to improve combat effect OR use magic to temporary boost you. so, comparing with heavy artifacts cost, 2.5k gold for 1 potion of oblivion is much more cheaper; it is a 1 short consume but grant the improvement until you wanna change again.
regarding to your question, i m assuming you are asking on talents built. stats and artifacts only affect some. my opinions show as below:

these 2 are belong to magic built; of course, they are not full magic built; in your case, it will more prefer as hybird built. get a potion reset stats; invest some spell power and knoweldge; use spells to assist in your combat.
holy built is all-rounded good in most combat. dark built are mainly for pvp fight, it can be good in certain non-pvp combat as well. yet, i bet you will combine any holy/dark with leadership talent to form hybird built in most case.
in magic built, you have to understand clearly on 3 facts show as below:
1. distribute of your strength on might and magic
2. understand the consequence; dont complain that your cant deliver high damage (might) after gain some spells (magic)
3. stats point allocated to grab sufficient magic without losing too much might.

these 4 built are more concern for might built. BUT, remember, make sure you know the risk btw 'always on effect' and 'trigger-based effect'.
offensive built is the most common found among might knight. needless to explain, you can just refer to any might knight.
defensive built is focus on pvp fight in most case. dont apply this if you are going to do most non-pvp fight to build your knight fsp. defensive tactic hardly work on most non-pvp fight.
leadership built and luck built, this are the 2 built allow your troops to act faster to kill your opponents without magic support. that's why i say knight still can survive even without magic.
fravor talent can be a key for your tortise troops to act faster; tag with partner can do wonder. as for luck talent, you could try expert luck or soldier luck; but that's it, dont go beyond that. dont forget that morale and luck are 'trigger-based effect' stats.

refer to all the advice above, you can still equip your might artifacts even you try magic built; and, using cheapest min AP in most of your fight. magic artifacts are too costy; thay's why 2.5k gold for 1 time investment is always better for long run. ignore this if you are a rich bagger or diamond user ;p
as for magic built, i seldom equip more than min AP in most non-pvp fight. you wont belive that almost all of my top hunt archievement were grab with less AP than rank 2 :)
last, no matter how good you are, you cant avoid for being lose in combat. it doesnt mean you will become very great new knight after you read all posts in this knight topic. look, some baggers did complain that those advices not working even they had follow. reading, understanding and applying are 3 different thing :)
it is nothing to be shame on lost. it is just a pre path to win in next battle :) ©
