about the 'Lorekeepers', the story began amongst the elves, though it explains that "a long time ago" the elves and wizards had been closer (that's how the elves got the Chazr Daemonium in the first place). The term could have derived from the wizards, or the wizards stolen it from the elves. O_O
Guilm. I originally had intended Skyn'da's conversation at the end with Quetlisse with Guilm. But decided that to complete the circle of sacrifice from Janneria to Guilm, to follow through with Skyn'Da (Skunder). Her death was meant to be seen in Guilm's as the ultimate sacrifice, hence why she was dedicated in the elven memorial at the end. I'm sorry you felt that Guilm being killed by the most powerful DE within the story was too bland for you. =D
The DE weren't exactly given free reign. As the story says, there is a force of demons watching over them, keeping tabs on them. And also, they were the greatest threat in the story so the signing of the treaty is the first step to 'something' in the future.
DESTROY THE TABLET!! Are you crazy? The tablet is the only thing keeping the demons in check and under control. If she destroys it the war begins again without ANY way to put them down - aside from wiping out legions and legions of demonic forces with the already hurt and grieving human and elven races. Unlikely.
Interesting idea with the melting down of the tablet though...
Necros: Well as to my first point, the elves and wizards had mixed a long long time ago. There's bond to be a remnant of that communication through the ages...possibly like wizards wielding 'earth magic'.
