I suppose you say that because you got 45k gold? It does not apply to other levels, even I and even two lev 13 and 16 friends of mine got 45k. I suppose it's lower for much lower levels, but otherwise most people get 45k gold it seems :) Well not 45k, I mean 1.5k*Number of wins. |

That's annoying, market values are 30k gold less for order of dark... pretty big gain for no other reason than that your char just happened to be on the right side. IMO the 5% higher gain in skill points would had been enough. |

No I only got 27k (18 wins) however it was from 22 battles so 1230 gold per battlem which is a large proportion of the cost. Indeed I Would expect that if I had done all 30 and sold the art I woul dhave probably made a profit overall, this is mostly down to the win ratio (as obviously a loss increases art cost but to no gold reward).
You are correct however that higher combat levels do better, though this is due mostly to the fact that art cost per durability fo shop arts does not particularly increase with higher levels, but gold reward does.
Generally it is better cost wise the higher you get. The castle cost for improvements compared to what gold you get for levelling is better, arts cost is comparatively better per durability, and of course by the time you get there inevitably you have a better labourers guild than you would have had at a lower level. |

Nothing wrong with that build, the guy just didn't know how to use it at all.
It's actually really annoying to play with that build and end up with a teammate who decides that the battle is lost at the start, just because he thinks he knows better...

Yes light won, but can any individual player really take credit for that? Nope, it was pretty much by chance that light side got a few more wins, and I think rewarding that by 30k gold for that is too much.
But, people are different, maybe some feel they really earned that much better reward... |
Yeah they can, every individual gets partial credit for their team winning. That's how team events work.

Exactly what I was going after, you get *lucky* and join the right team... and for that you get same amount of extra gold as you get from winning gold in a minor tournament (+ the higher skill point bonus). For me that seems too much, but maybe it's just me.
Another way to put it (in terms of gold): random side gets 0.4% more wins = gold medal in minor tourney |

Well I completely agree, I think the prize difference is too much.
However, let's say we have 10 more events like this, on average you will be on the winning side half of the time and losing side half of the time so that makes up for it... in shot term of course it's terrible. |

Are you seriously relating what happened to that statement? All the gold medals went to light, and dark got zero? Or did you simply hurry to post your first thought which is clearly wrong. The difference in rewards - 45k is same for both sides. The artifact is a 20k difference on average and the fsp bonus isn't even something talking about. |
