Author[Event] Survilurgs attack again
1st event combat of the day..charmer elf, i feel like i get tortured and foul alex and maxim laughing behind of it


i felt regret for returning to this stupid game....I can see this game sinking soon

Looks like it was shortlived, it's back to maximum uber initiative again. During my fourth round of 20 in none of my matches my lizard assailants went before most of opponents creatures, even necros dead envoys and almost all of necros creatures go before it. Due to this I only won 14/20, bringing my total to 58/80.
You know I'm okay with AI having twice or tripple the regular army size, but also giving them uber high initiative makes this game not worth it anymore. I'm getting tired of this, what is the exact use of thieving guild if the AI has now always maxed out thiefing guilds initiative bonus? Then it is nothing but playing thiefguild to catch up to the AI's thieving guild, and by then the admin will probably give to the AI ultra rare sets all the time since that is the only thing left now for the AI, since it allready has faction skill at 12 and more armaments than any player as well now and also higher basic stats, I guess it has completed all of the commanders guild as well. A great way to bring this game to its demise, bravo admin, it really brings enjoyment to the players when a nuking wizard has over 200 gargoyles that got initiative close to 12 with speed 9 that one cannot even catch after throwing delay upon it. And even more fun when all of demons creatures go before any of yours and even get tons of morale with only morale 1 so some even go twice before any of yours gets a turn and by then you will be lucky to get close to 1k exp or even half a sp. Or a shadow barbarian with over 80 ogre magi that one hit anything on board and keep ranking spirit points so even your biggest stack can kill only 4. As if that is not enough it also has over 60 orcs, over 130 hog riders, 20 dark birds, 3 behemoths and 8 cyclops to make it surer than a sure thing. I guess the admins want to end this game as a comedy.

I bet no one and I mean no one on the entire server will be able to buy that level 21 weapon with durability 85 since it costs a bit over 9600, so one needs to score 97/120 at least to be able to get it and so far I had allready seen the level 21 players get 58/80 max, any of them even thinking that they can win all of the last 40 matches should be institutionalised.

But out of curiosity, does this event has dynamic balancing like TG ?
does it really reduce the difficulty after loosing for a while? if not, I don't see any point of increasing troop size with every win :O

PS: I am not playing this event much either.
Where is the fun of playing lordwsm if you keep winning all the time and some point you will be getting boring soon because there is no challenging

It already on it's progress.
Only a few loyal player left(Including me).
Admin should think a way for plyers to have fun instead of struggling.

In most of the game, even is great if you can play all of event.

In this particular event, 20 battle per day in itself is difficult already.
with total 120 to play is already shoving.
Any player who play all 120 with full arts should be able to enjoy any one of highest durability one.
Let's see how it end.

The point is the keep the event challenging. Challenging is Fun. Making fights an automatic loss no matter how well you play is not fun. It is demoralizing.
can we extend the event to cover two weekends?
20 fights a day is just too much for workers.

I'm really not sure about this. I think it reduces only the caravan factionwise. For example I lost against a wiz caravan, the next wiz caravan was a bit reduced.
another point is that not all fractions are equal in terms of ambushing, would admin adjust the difficulty of AI to fit each fraction?
At the end, the event should be rewarding and fun, instead of causing complains and frustrations between many players

All factions are equal vs impossible army :)

I think I'm done with this event since started losing 50% of time and it's no longer fun:
1) when you lose it takes too much time for next battle (can't spend too much real time in this game for that)
2) FSP/XP is not that good when losing (also no TGP in this case)
3) full arts for so many battles means you are losing lots of gold
4) At this rate of losing I won't be able to buy good arts with durability 80+ anyway
....Still waiting announcement of the event - few questions bother me:

- when does Survilurg black market closes and what happens coins that are not used?
- if there is 120 fights as people are referring: will there be extra days to complete those fights as 20 fights a day is a lot?

Tough event. win ratio 72%, some battle totally depend on luck and some unable to win. I hate tribal and necr with huge amount of skeleton bowmen + arcliches.

Again 20 combats/day is too much, how many hours we need stay in front of pc?
If there is some reason 20 combats needed, at least heath restore 100% after defeated. It's annoying to wait, wait and wait :/
My last attempt to try and offer a different perspective to maybe reduce the negative views of some.

For all events try and compare them to Commanders guild as a reference.

Both are voluntary to do - you can go the whole game without doing it
Both require full arts and so are expensive
Both have good exp/FSP ratios (though I think events are normally slightly better, but not by much)
CG battles are usually pretty fair - though sometimes very not
Event battles are sometimes easy - sometimes hard - sometimes completely impossible

So there are the similarities - what about differences
CG battles take a lot lot longer
CG battles have a 50% win ratio (kind of has to really) Events are usualy higher than this
events give a reward after max 120 battles or so(using this one as an example of one with more than average) which is usually fairly valuable if you have done that may battles. ou also get rewards in the battles you do - ranging from gold, looted arts, enchants - armaments TG points - elements
CG you get one artifact after mny more battles (would have to win almost all to get to CG 1 in 120 and that won;t happen no matter how good you are)
CG wll give you +1 primary skill point and loot potential at level 2 (long time of playing given how long he battles take)

So in my opinion any event is better than CG in erms of reward and cost - yes they sometime become impossible as a result of synamic balancing that just keep getting harder - they should have a cap at some point where they get no bigger - such that it should be feasible for the very best to get 100% wins. Realistically however there will be some impossible battles as a result of random factors (luck and morale triggers) or the nature of all opponents being of the same "power" - however if you happen to get 5 in a row of a faction that you are particularly good against ou will inflate your difficulty in the dynamic balancing. If your opponent after that is teh faction you struggle ost against - then you will probably face an impossible army. It is in my opinion unavoidable that you will face fights that no matter what you do - you will lose - or lose due to triggers (as a side note people tend to forget(or at least not recall so vividly) when they win because of the same factors). The critical aspect is what ratio of impossible fights are you willing to tolerate - since they will continue to happen no matter what the admins do. That comes down to personal preference again. So chill - suck up the loss - after all it is only a bunch of imaginary pixels defeating some other pixels that you cn control!

I love the fact that this event gives TG points. Much needed boost. Also the FSP is as much as a 2v2 battle, which takes much longer then these battles.

One problem I think, 20 battles per day is too much.
You can't compare this event with CG seriously..

Most players in ru and com think this event was unfair.
