again lost to elf charmer,what a stupid game...
I started the event after its first two days, somehow every event is easier on first day and after that ridiculously hard. It's clear that this is so that everyone will play the event immediately at the start of it each time. But since they happen to neglect the international players by not even taking the minor effort to announce it for us, most of us find out about an event later on. They still have to announce this one but they won't so I have let go of this and accepted how much we are appreciated since even google translate takes one second so 'our knowledge of english is poor' excuse does not cut it anymore.
At first round of 20 I scored 15/20, so 25% loss.
After second round I'm at 27/40, so 32,5% loss in total, but if I hyappen to only look at the second round, it means I scored 12/20 in that round, meaning 40% loss.
So with this rate I will indeed reach around 50% loss in the end or even more.
The event has been made for those that have faction skill 12 and thiefsguild around level 10 since the AI has that as well. Browsed around the combats of the top players to see how they fair, most of them haven't even done half of the event so far and those that have are at best around 58/80, so they'll probably close it around 75/120 orso while the rest on 60/120 on average it seems.
Needless to say I'm probably done with this event.
you can keep complaining as much as you want, but the fact remains we are still getting events on a regular basis, even if we dont get informed most people post on the forum within the first day so that people know.

as for the difficulty, this is the first time (as far as i know) they have do a event like this so there is bound to be some problems, give them time and perhaps by the next time this event comes out the difficulty will not raise as steeply as this time.

all in all... stop complaining :D
Its a great event, but 20 combats per day was a pain to finish it.
Reduce it to 10 combats per day for next event please. :P

Nest time they pull off this 20/day scam and I am done with this.
FSP/XP is nice, I like that (also getting TGP).

AI is cheating:
1) while you waiting it does simulation and position troops so that it would be the worst possible scenario for you :)
2) like 10% of time you get an impossible battle (AI has initiative so high that half of your troops die before your first turn)
3) Almost always lost vs Tribal, they become too fast, and they are many

Overall, a good event so far, but I'm afraid that I'll start losing most of the battles in the next 3 days, because it was really hard to win today (was no easy battle, a small mistake and it would be a lost battle for sure).
Well, guys just aim to go for 1 big art and dont play the rest of the event, all you gotta do is get 70/120 and no point in playing more as you cant get another good arts (good arts start at 5k and i guess to score 100 you need extreme skill like revelution rebel).

So ya, thats what im doing, hunting my way to somewhere around 65-75 so i can buy one good expensive art and hopefully recover the cost of the 100 battles i play (70k)
Well, arts in Survilurg black market are useless, because:
1) you won't be able to use those arts in events anyway (I mean in most events)
2) it will be hard to sell for a good price since many players will be selling
3) only arts with durability 80+ will be worth something, but those will be hard to earn, but atm I don't see any good arts on that list

I'd prefer to buy shop arts with increased durability instead.

So, the only reward in this event is FSP + TGP, which is good enough so far (we'll see how bad it will be on other days).

FSP is damn awesome.
I dont know about other levels , but at my lvl fsp/exp ratio is even better then hunts.
Even when i lose , ratio is not that bad either.. so im gonna do all attempts , it doesnt matter how much i lose , but i will do all. :)

Also nice way to collect armaments.
I already got nice sets of armaments for my main faction. :)

It is because of such events that I am not surprised everytime I notice the ammount of online players is dropping. Perhaps the plan of the Adms is to have a reason to close the game. If it is the deal, congratulations, you are doing a very very good job.
what is going on with the difficulty? this is getting insane ...
so sad to see so many people not liking this event! I find it fun, just started today and it is tough and I can easily understand the frustrations with losing but isn't that how everything in this game is? Thieves, hunts, and merc guild all start easy and as you do better and better they get harder and harder. They just don't get as hard as fast and are easier when you level up. So what do you guys do when one of those gets too hard? Do you stop playing and save your gold and do something else? Cause that's what I do and then when an event like this comes around to shake things up I can play! Enjoy the game guys

(Yes I realize I do not do almost any PvP and that saves me lots of gold too but I gamble like a fiend and it rarely pays off so balancing).

That was my initial reaction, now I walk through the pain to get at least a descent art from this event. Normally I stop events if I find them too time consuming, unbalanced, boring. This time they got me into it. ;)

Well, let's say it like this: If I win a battle at this point I have the feeling that I really have done something. :D
So I decided to try another round of 20 matches to see if the complaints had helped.
So far first round was 15/20, 25% loss.
Second round was 12/20, 40% loss, with total at 27/40 meaning 32,5% loss in total.
The third round somehow was different, my lizard assailants most of the time kept getting their turn before the AI's now, so far this had never been the case, so AI's initiative was not at ultra max all the time anymore. Needless to say I scored 17/20 this time, just making AI's thiefingguild not at level 10 or above anymore made this huge of a difference. The sizes of the armies were still the same as before and sometiomes even more. It's obvious that the admins still fail to see what kind of difference uber initiative makes in this game. Give AI double the army size but no thiefing guild and it's a challenge but doable, but give the AI uber maxed out thiefguild and even with a regular sized army it will wipe you away since you practicly do not get a turn.
I'm at 44/60 now, so at a 27% loss, mihgt do another round of 20 to see if this change lasts.
This AI luck is getting ridiculous.

i met a crazy amount of troops which is defense barbarian AI with tribal spirit, and their killer stack is 66 orge magi, my guardian was knockback like football, roll here and there, the army consists of 3 behemoth, 20 dark rocs, 120 hog riders, 15 orc chief magi and 66 orge magi


teach me how to win this? lol
