Hi
Does earth enchants on jewelry increases poison spell damage? |
Does earth enchants on jewelry increases poison spell damage?
No, Poison is a Dark spell, not an Earth spell, I think. |
Yes, poison deals earth damage, so earth enchantments increases poison spell damage. |
^^ Poison is a dark spell but it has earth damage.
So Meteorite shard and Tiger's claw will increase damage ;) |
Not sure if it's just too small sample to judge, but I feel as nec I could get more chance to loot hunter gears than other factions, based on around 100 hunting as nec and thousands ones as other factions. |
What is the best strategy to beat army of demon {1} for lvl8 Necro with min AP? I need to used the 2nd attemp to beat {0}.
They have strong mele, shoter and caster |
How much bigger is {1} then {0}? I fought {0} on 6 lvl and i was surprised how strong they were:D (won in 3rd attempt)
My recipe: Kill dogs in first battle. Then if you block shooters with ghosts you should manage to kill devils. In the last battle finish casters and shooters.
Brigands are much easier now:) |
I'm reaching lv 7 soon, should I max ghost or zombies for duels since ghosts always die too fast? what about doing mercenaries quest? Pls help me out thanks :D |
max ghosts not zombies skeleton bowmen first then vamps then ghost last is zombies |
for Necromancy357:
It depends on the opponent actually. If it's an opponent that can take out ghosts fast (spells, multiple hits per attack), maybe having a bit more zombies to fall back on is good (ie, make sure you still have a stack on the board so you can raise instead of losing completely)
As for MG... Once you get infected, zombies become a very powerful tool against the Monsters, else usually ghosts are better at defence due to miss chance |
This is just another attempt to bump the thread... :P
I suggest that necros post their combat log (MG quest, hunts, duels etc.) in order to motivate beginners or low - level necros to level up, as well as to continue choosing necro as their faction.
Ps: I just realised that I can type in the forums freely without needing to create a forum account ( most forums need to), thus I wish to play my part in making the necro thread more active. :P |
@231
Hi, my name is Noxous, and I have been a necromancer for 6 combat levels now.
Back on topic:
I have never done a free for all, and with the upcoming blindfold tournament, I'm a little nervous at my inexperience. Does anyone care to explain some decent tactics to use as a necromancer inside free for all. |
you need to choose might at lvl 5. 4 knowledge will be enough and if you think you'll need another point in knowledge for a hard hunt etc. just reset your talent point and put it into knowledge. generally for a necro i'd recomend you have good attack arts, and pretty much all the points you can into attack. at lvl 5 necros troops are pretty much organized for attack, because skele bows are very strong especially against slower ranged units, and although they die quickly there are enough of them that if you lose 20 or so you will still be able to hit pretty hard with them, or just raise. when something attacks ghosts and it misses ghosts need good attack to hit back strong, and obviously because of vampires drain ability and no retaliation attack is also a good choice for them. magic will not help you so much especially with the only damaging spell being magic punch at lvl 5. Furthermore, when fighting an elf i reccomend wearing shoes of aspiration and the ring that gives 1 initiative (ive forgotten the name, sorry ^^) along with a ring of doubts. This will most likely allow you to go before the elven bows unless the elf is wearing shoes of aspiration, in which circumstance i would recomend not fighting them, and your skeles should be able to kill over half of them before they even go, especially with luck. Good luck :) oh and sorry for such a long post i didnt know how much explaination i needed to give :P |
Well, as far wizards are wining almost all fights in tournament on higher lvles. This should end.
At the begining of the fight, try to kill as many gargs, as you can, or wizard will win :(.
Gargs has speed 9, no other unit can catch them. And if wizard has mana recovery, he can run with gargs and cast spells forever... |
I have a question about raise dead.
Is it normal that the max hp reduction takes effect after the raise?
My raise effect lost 24hp efficiency out of 120 because of this :/ |
yes, as you can see in FAQ, there is HP reduction after raise. Quote from Raise Dead description:
The maximal HP of the whole stack decreases by 20% in case of undead, by 40% in case of living creatures. |
I just didn't know it cuts down the raise efficiency.
In my spell book, raise dead shows 120hp.
If i raise a dead vamp stack i only get 96hp worth of raise.
Thanks for the answer. |
It doesn't cut the raise efficiency per se.
The raise is calculated based on the original hp. For example with 120 hp you raise 30 skeles even when they have 1 hp each. |
Right now I'm using Basic natural magic, basic erudition and dominion of life so which sort of combat are they good for? MG,TG,GB or duels?
Other possiblities like:
