who gets a price. only the first of every faction/level?
After the tournament is over, the results are processed, winners defined and rewards distributed.
1) Empire sets the basic prize for every tournament.
2) The basic prize can consist of gold, artifacts and diamonds.
3) Half of all admission fees are added to the basic prize.
4) The other half of admission fees make up the incentive prize.
5) Lords with maximum amount of victories split up the basic prize evenly.
6) Lords with n-1 and n-2 victories get the 60% and 40% of the incentive prize respectively, where "n" is the maximum amount of victories achieved by any one player in the tournament of a certain level.
exept that read 'highest score' rather than 'no of victories' |

so.. there is a first prize and a incentive prize..
is the money noted in the tournament screen divided between the 7 factions?
or does the winner of each faction get 150k+ gold? |

My apologies to all wizards that got confused by my earlier statements. Spell power bonus for faction skill is indeed present in the swarm combats.
It's administrators' decision, but I fail to see the point of giving them such a bonus. It doesn't change anything overall - since wizards compete with other wizards - but just ensure their battles waaaay too long (one guy complained one attempt took him two hours).
It's time-consuming to be a wizard in this tournament :) |
| I have the same concern as you Rosaic. I just hope that the level 7 scores are not lost and still get compared against the other level 7's. I leveled up from 7 to 8 just after my 7th attempt. |

Yes.
Seriously? So someone that doesn't do as well but wears more AP will get a better score than someone that uses less AP but does better/kills more/lasts longer? That doesn't seem like it "should" be correct.
Also, I was wondering, If the monsters kill each other such as through plague shot's spreading effect or draconic breath etc, do they still contribute to your score? If they do not than this could be another factor to consider as you go through the levels. |

They will. Your previous level scores are save and should they be high enough, they will be rewarded. |
That doesn't seem like it "should" be correct.
You see, it is indirect. The points depend on how much experience you gained. And you gain experience depending on what artifacts you wear. So the dependence does exist, however, there quite a few more factors that influence the tournament score. |

You will get more points if you kill the swarm monsters yourself rather then getting them killing each other through abilities like draconic breath. |
| Since it is a "contest of survival" the score should be based solely on your ability to "survive" and your arts should play no part other than to aid in your survival. Seems to me that the score should simply be a cumulative total of all damage received by the enemy troops. Like killing 200 critters with 4 hp each would net you 800 points on your score, just like if you tricked the enemies into indirectly killing those same 200 critters for you. |
