Just found this from .ru from someone who hit 86k silver or something of that ilk, this was his last fight for 1411 silver

From my experience I think I would conclude the following

MAge start as hero damage most significant and ability to ensure no loss of troops, thus 100% efficient for progression to the next ship.

When you start hitting the point when you cannot resurrect all your troops it is best going to a defensive build - fury barb is good for this. However, in this scenario you are reliant on cannons still to do a lot of the damage.

At 1100-1200 silver battles the enemy tend to have a lot of high attack and wear great temporal ring, as such can wipe out your cannons very quickly, even at very high durability values. At this point a HK defensive set up like the one above is neccesary as you cannot rely on gaining the shooting advantage, and the pirate troops which are cheap and have large stack hp are not ones with the movement range to charge down shooters.

It may be prudent to go straight from mage to HK evasion build.

HK? Wouldnt it better be to go elf? This guy was clearly not hk as hk doesnt have fortune talents.

Regular knight has fortune and holy but holy is 7 and fortune is 10.

Elf has both fortune and holy at 7. Also defense at 9. I think elf is the way to go.

This is my comparison of when you are forced to advance into a line of shooters, with 10% air elemental damage and 8% water elemental as well as the normal stuff, when almost his entire army attacks before anyone makes a move.

One cannon got a shot off before it died, even with them all having 1334hp each.

Arguably it was my selection of enemy, though I often found that I kept getting the same ones, which did not help me much. Most times I did not find a good match up at all before I was down to very few searches and was down to, well better go for the devil you know.
Quite right, elf is better, I assumed hk without looking at talents, since they had been mentioned earlier on in this thread.

7 points for both holy and luck branch. Not sure what the best pairing with holy is on this event, luck is certainly strong since it is one of the few things that affects both your troops and your cannons.
He must be going for the record on the last fight. It's hard to believe his other fights are like this, because the troop loss doesn't seem sustainable.
High silver means any battle is sustainable if you win. He could afford to replace 5% of every troop and still have more left over. I think he probably did given that he earned 15k more silver than me, though had the same number of guns with lower hp and attack. He did have the next ship up, worth 7k, and more troops, but would estimate had to spend 10k or so more on replacing troops than I must have given our respective total assets.

First time to get 80 dura arts. Oh yeaaaah I am glad I am push my limit. go hardcore on the enemy selection and the battle itself.

So got a 80/80 art to sell, what do people reckon will happen to the price, at the moment seems 130k or so, sell now before it drops more, or wait and hope it rises. I feel event arts are perhaps less valuable these days since they will not compete with imperial arts.
If ffa event comes next ( which should be as its been a while since last ), then definitely price will increase, even more if shooters are preferred there :D

Depends how long you're willing to hold onto it, I can see price spiking when (if) they release a new campaign.
My inventory is stuffed with old event arts and stuff I need to get rid of but cannot be bothered to play the market. So holding onto it is kinda what my default option is. I will wait, I bought one with 76 dura for 75k less than the current market pricem, so not too fussed either way. Just want to avoid that sinking feeling when you sell something, then see someone sell the same art for loads more than you did.
As in market price for my 80/80 so profit with only a marginally less good art.

I think this art should be for right hand, too strong obviously but I never see pirates using a gun as a main weapon, usually sword is main and gun if offhand :P

That one is unique since it's the only weapon (sword slot) that increase shooter range and shooter damage. Couple that with another range bow and shooters can have 9 range with more than 30% extra shooter damage meaning anything trying to hit it will have to come into range. The drawback is that base parameters aren't very good, so only really worth it for the shooter builds. 130k is low for 80/80. I can't really imagine it losing a lot of value in the worst situation, but it could increase.

As for imperial set, I'd say that the new robber set will be on par, although imperial will be completed sooner. Cave set should be good too, very strong set bonus for both.

Then event arts will always have value, if just to fill in clan depositories.
Was this the last event to get shield parts?
