Got nice anti, and this event was so fun :)
Also only thing disappointing to me was that I was unable to find magis... |
And was able to loot 10 potions from last 10 fights.
It was fun, but probably next time I will try to make competitive score. I just lose hope when lost 2 battles early and didn't find magis. Lack of patience ;) |

Really enjoyed the event, and I'm fairly happy with my score :)
As I was ranting about in this thread earlier, 2 losses on day 1 is really harsh, but far more importantly, I had to play the event with xbows instead of wardens, which is a big disadvantage.
Definitely I'll try to do better next time, I think I would be top 50, but really praying for top 30. Most say top 30 will take 26-27k unfortunately, but let's see :) |

I'm happy I got to 10k strength. Lvl 8 makes it significantly harder to actually get better troops and silver per fight.

I got 738 bowmen. It will cost me over 200k to upgrade. This I will get in like 10 battles, where I will lose troops without gaining more troops. Is it worth the investment? |
| I honestly don't know for sure. Your army is weaker than it should be already so it might not make up enough to get you into the top 100. Upgrading Magi gives a good amount of XP as well but before you decide i would wait for someone a little more intelligent than myself to help you out. I do know that upgrading them into wardens will give you a lot of XP. I just don't know if it'll be enough for you |

| they give random stats depending on the potion for a day. you get them by battling in the event once your Army strength is 12000 |

Yes without a doubt, upgrade them. Getting silver is good anyway, they will give you more army strength than just finding troops.

Nice work Random one. That is some increase in strength later on from when people were gaining 1-2k strength for the first 3-4 days, then boom. What rank are you at the moment? Would be great to see a disproportionate amount of .commers at the top of the table |

Thanks ^^ I am at 10 right now, hoping to end top 50. As far as others, Jitu is at 4, icomeinpeace would be around Jitu when he finishes his attempts, and RecorderPT is a bit below 20th I think. Also Mathijs is high up somewhere, definitely in top 100. Quite a few of us! :D |

After a couple of days i was 2nd and now 6th... the last half of the event didn't go perfect for me but still not bad. After ~30 fights I was skipping many battles with units i was using since their numbers felt so small. I realized a bit late that it wasn't possible to find big ones when you already have many. Anyway hoping to stay in top10 and next time we will all be a bit wiser :) Although maybe they change the system next time, it doesn't make much sense that you'll end up with hundreds of thousands of silver that you don't really need, but use only to gain army strength. |
Well I managed to only grab 3 potions and 11 hunter points. Upgrading to wardens from start seems to have been a must, due to the stack growing bigger and bigger I was only able to upgrade it after 60 battles, after that the fights were easy and I even doubled my army strength in the last 20 battles.
