this even was quite a lot of fun.
agreed, a lot of gold was needed to be able to slay generals.

But the reward-arts... are incredible.
The ring is downright awesome, it can be used from lvl 11... and it gives even more stat points than the lvl 19 shop rings.

The boots are very good as well
Since they are "leader boots," like "leader shield," i am quite sure that they are items in a future rare set.

But for the rest it was a nice event, just a pity that you get only a small amount of fsp if you lose in the last wave, even if you have slain the leader.

Well maybe I sound naive and obnoxious when I say that different people have different choices.
For eg: Many player at lower levels (1-11) save gold to buy TGI
Player at mid levels (12-15) save gold to build castles and enchant weapons.
And players at higher levels (16-19) save gold mainly to buy rare arts/sets and enchant weapons.
So unless someone has millions on his profile, he has to spend gold on events carefully to not get broke in future. :)
But in the end I agree that the event was good :) | @The One Ring, those that can't reason result into namecalling. But you can call me whatever you want, it will only show me the barriers of your intellect.
And also you call this a fun event and yet you have not even participated in it. Now that there sais it all.
Moving on. The people that were on the list of points gathered and having slain 30 generals and less had played it for around 10 pages of combats. I can't even comprehend the gold cost for over 400 combats like that, let alone the time for doing them. Minimum AP on my level was 43, so even playing it with minimum AP would drain you dry in no time. Those gained artifacts from this event can be bought for less after the event. Not to mention that the exp/fsp/gold in the event was less as well than a regular survilurgs battle. I try to play every event to the fullest, but this one I didn't find to my liking, but I guess it really did keep the boredom out for the high level players since they went overboard playing it like 24/7 which even the admins could not foresee and closed up the event just as fast as they started it with the unlimited attempts and all.
And indeed why else do we need ingame gold? Even a thiefs guild invitation starts around 540k which I still have got to get. So yes, why else do we really need ingame gold? That there failed as a rhetorical question, because in this game the answer can be lots of diverse reasons, from ones roulette addiction to anothers set addiction. | well, players spend gold cause this is a fun Event.
and fast way to earn FSP + gaining points allowed the creatures to get cool stats + special abilities which we cant/wont able to use them for those units.
i spent around 80K or 90K gold and earned around 80 FSP roughly.
so i dont see this as a loss. cause gaining 80 FSP is not easy way.
+ i received good reward arts too. | this event is good, too bad that i am not played much,and i build one castle recently which drain some 300k gold.
last time we did same type boss event was 3v3 in 4 wave. but this time admin reduce it into 2v2 for 4 wave battle structure. i think it is reduce battle time around 50% and vanguard setup time is also faster since you do not need a 3rd person to start battle.
i hope they will give more events like this :P |
