Clearly they could have made it more balanced by swapping the two lv17s
If it was balanced only by Elo you'd be seeing genuinely unbalanced fights.
There are many factors which would go into making it more balanced like the pair combination i.e., maybe the pair was better matched that way as to not put a pair against both of their counters.
Hard to say how the matchmaking system works but I am pretty sure I heard of it trying to do some kind of balancing in that regard and tbh makes more sense than just balancing on elo |
