Thanks for your help. I was underestimating Nightmares. I do try to take retaliation whenever possible, but in that concrete example I wanted to rush magi as you suggested (I had temptresses because I used them against magi in the previous fight, but here they were in a single stack that was too large apparently).
I somehow manage to get through the first day on max difficulty, but I already have 10 losses. Not sure how well that is but based on the difficulty spikes later on in previous events, I'm gonna guess not good (: |

| Day 2 seemed much easier and I only lost twice. The stack of griffins on #20 (without hero) was the same as it was on #7 (with hero). |

From my experience with this event so far, Necro is the easiest to kill. Be it castle or open field, with or without hero, the stacks are relatively easy to kill because they are slow and don't have morale.
Have stayed aeay from Elves and Wizards, tried a Knight but Griffins were too much. Barb is not too hard either.
The goal is to find bigger low tier stacks rather than bigger high tier stacks |

| For me hunts are better. Especially those with few big stacks. Delay them, then charge everything at them. They have no atk or def, easy to kill a bunch at once |

They also need to fix this luck/morale trigger bul.it. I'm not one to complain, but when the enemy has 1 luck and 1 morale and they trigger 1000 times, while your 3 luck never triggers even once...it's NOT fun at all.
If the admins want to keep us putting money in their pockets, they need to make this game fun and interesting to play.
I don't think there is even one player out here that has fun in a battle like the in the example before. |

| What happened today? I just won against a tribal army without a hero, in a castle, about 400 enemy units total. On the next round even the easiest fight is a wizard hero with CL7 (same as me) with 700 gargoyles, 100 golems and 100 magis. In a castle with a tower. Is this for real? |
| The hardest fight is a knight hero CL10 (3 levels above me) with 1000 crossbowmen, 80 griffins, 260 guardians and 70 monks. Also in a castle of course. |
