AG - 0, WG - 2, CG - 1[No stat point for this], MG - 7[No stat point at 7]. So it's pretty meh.
You're not even gonna be close to a grinder (or even me) in anything except that LG.
So I don't have much emotions about it. It's not gonna affect my gameplay in any significant way. Atleast at cl15.
The positive I see from this, is a returning player has less to be upset in terms of being far away from the average (4 - 5 stat points from WG for example).
Yeah. In fact, WG discriminates very strongly against new players, and I hope this changes that.
Though, like I said, wg2 at cl15 is not very helpful.
What I would like to hear is those who hated CG updates due to it allowing people to easily farm CG points (or any other guild for example), how they feel about this potion as for higher levels it means they don't have to do any CG to get some stat points.
It bothered me a lot more to see them have cg3, than get that stat point. So I guess I'm okay with it. Them having stat points really doesn't hurt me in anything except a CG fight, and most players who do play CG regularly will have more than those CG levels anyway. Also, I don't relate to the "higher levels". At cl15 atleast, no cg stat point for them. |
Though the existence of this might bring a change in the meta.
Players may chose to ignore certain guilds, in favor of focusing on others.
Take HG for example. It gives too much exp for a grinder to enjoy. They may skip HG entirely, and spend all that Exp on TG instead. And the potion gives a very high HG level (Average HG level is high since it's the most accesible guild to the layman). I'm not sure how I feel about it, but it's almost certain to happen.
There are lot of monsters at my level who are at hg7, and if given the choice, would prefer to be even below that. And the new generation of monsters might end up doing just that. |
| You know what would be fun. Equal fights where everyone had same guild levels and fsl[those above drop to them]. I would love to fight on those days. Can forget about guilds and stat points and just focus on the skill. |

| I can't say I like it, but doesn't matter since I have stopped playing seriously long time now exactly because the hard and consinstant work of some get's "deleted" from such things to favor the lazy the ocasionally and the summer players. |

If you are playing with guys who farmed a lot of stats, you get stats from their guilds -1 so the potion is worth having even if you are average according to the overall metrics. |
My opponent got a whooping +7 stats, as displayed on the combat page. Made the fight much more fun that it otherwise would have been.
When it comes to Bad CG partners, this is a great day to have an insurance on how bad they can be stat wise. The potion only works if these under-guilded people use them regularly, which I hope they do, but most won't.

which I hope they do, but most won't.
I think price / availability will definitely be a big factor here. If they are available in the shop, it's likely I will pick them up for clan PvP. |
| Does it override higher than average guild? |
In other words those that have put the time and effort into this game now get punished for it with a potion for the rich and lazy to loose their advantage. I'm gonna chalk this up for yet another reason to stop playing this game entirely, just a few more and I will be out.
Why put the effort and time into thieving, just get a potion and the difference will be just 1% instead of it being over a dozen since the opponent put in years with thieving to gain it turning it into a waste of his years. |
| It's a good move. Sometimes I feel pity for guys join CG with no or negligble guild points. This will give competitiveness to them and encourage more players to try CG. |
