How about a super defensively buffed troop with high defense and hit points having : rebirth, raise dead, large shield, take roots, magic proof |

All of them can be caster, but you have to put caster in the ability section |
imperceptibility (so no matter what it faces it gets to hit - even meshy's uber caster)
glacier pounce
blade of doom
retribution
rebirth (which then means it gets a guaranteed second hit, should imperceptibility work with rebirth)
I am of course assuming retribution and blade of doom work with glacier pounce,, shame I Cannot put sacrifice in as well to cover troops with low and high numbers. |

Blade of doom doesnt work on troops who have >=1,000 hp |

Though, the troop is clearly a tank while hero mage destroys the shrew.
Though would be fun we we could recruit a "stone" that had imperciability + zero initiative.
Maybe as a summon in battle. We can summon stones on the battlefield. |

I like the idea, good tanky unit...
But for a tanky unit i would reccomend fullmetal and immune to magic
