answer to your hypotetical question : no, I would switch to one of my two multies, probably lvl 14 one ;) | | i was once blocked for all kinds of illegal transfers in level 9 , then came back with this clear account to this level nearly 5 years of hard work if i get blocked again i would probably leave the game | You guys do understand that your replies actually kind of show why you play the game, right?
Kind of implies the sunk cost fallacy, though that obviously isn't the complete reason by any means.
I mean, the amount of commitment you have shown to the game by playing it for 5+ or whatnot years, you're too invested in it.
But conversely, if you're not willing to start over from level 1 because say your account was blocked in the current state for whatever reason, fair or unfair. You wouldn't continue to play.
Idk but to me that seems to imply the game inherently isn't fun.
I mean you aren't willing to start over from level 1.
Like idk if its related but if for whatever reason i lose my progress in skyrim, i wouldn't hesitate to start over from scratch. Maybe try a new mod or a different combat approach. A part of me might even feel excited.
Anyways, back to that. You are kind of implying that the game inherently isn't that attractive right from level one. But for the you of now, it is. be it for whatever reason, the simple commitment of playing it, or that the game gets better at latter levels.
Ofc, that is generalizing a lot, I'm sure all of you have your own reasons why you like playing the game.
Just an interesting thing to think about. | | Personaly, I was an elf all my career at this game and if I were to be blocked, I would enjoy playing a diffirent faction as a main from level 1... | | My current opinion is that when you play a faction from the start and keep up with it for long, you really become that faction (VV the barb, Aurelija the elf, etc.) and it is hard to dissociate from that. If you start over, and you have 8 other choices tempting you to try them for a bit, eventually you will get back to the one you first started with and kept playing with when you were new to the game. Again, this is how it works with me, and i am extending this to everyone only as an opinion. | #26 skyrim is like one off the best games ever , and even if u start over and over again u always find something new , and u level up much faster then in here , and u can just walk around and find something to do e.t.c.
