if we only enroll and do events
its not benificial to MC if a member uses 1/250 space but never defends.
some russ clans developed a tax system for that. to have +1 (att+def+ini) bonus, you are expected to pay (like 20-30k, not sure) every month, if not defending above a certain number ;) |
How so?
Self explanatory. Anyways... Let's just say if someone manage to lease all battles at the usual price, will have enough money to buy 2 or 3 of the same artefact. |
Self explanatory.
Sounds like your dodging the question to me.

That's not true though, the rent costs of the arts aren't double / triple of the cost per battle. |

Please explain to me how the setence "riping someone off" isn't self explanatory.

It's not necessary to ask for the 'double' or 'triple' to profit enough to purchase a new artefact of the same. These artefacts can be repaired and used for thousands of battles, in the long run they'll give a profit margin big enough to get 2 or 3 of the same. |

I think he understands what ripping people off means. You say they are ripping people off, but where are the tangible examples?
We have an enchanted infernal set in our depository, rents for 6k per battle. Tell me where else you can match that price. A number of enchanted arts are also available, a few at cost that are owned by the clan and a few rented slightly above cost by players. I can look through A&D's depository logs and find some reasonably priced enchanted artifacts there as well. Those both run contradictary to your statement. |
where are the tangible examples?
Tangile example, would be picking a specific price for a specific item, from a specific MC? Then won't be the exactly the same than spelling someones else name?
You want a example, sure I'll give one, no names though.
Let's assume someone bought a enchanted art that it's price per battle is 270 (repair included).
This artefact could be used over than 3.500 battles. If this person decide to lease this artefact for say 380 (after taxes and pay dues), this person would get 110 profit per lease battle. Well 110*3500 equals 385.000, plus a little extra on the market for selling it.

Well, since infernal set is rare combination of different artefacts that weren't laying in the market and it requires a small fortune to purchase them, these special kind of offers are acceptable to have some margin of profit, however I was talking about more simple and easier to get enchanted arfetacs. |
I think he understands
Well, you're not him and cannot reply for him.
Besides... Who doesn't know these stuff anyways? |
I don't think you understand Corey's point of a tangible example, he meant a real example from an MC, not a hypothetical from "no names" |
Last update/post.
Just wanted to say that I was wrong, at least at the particular item that I had in mind. To preciely put, outdated. Few years ago the profit margin was enough to purchase the same item and one more, however today the profit margin is really fair actually, infact quite small in consideration the amount of time needed.
I just looked one single item though. |
he meant a real example from an MC
Not gonna give names buddy, that would be childish, stupid and unfair for someone else business.
However my example seems fit, if you imagine that the item could've bought by half of the example that I gave. At least it was what I saw few years back. |
