Ofc people will join fights if they know they can have an easy win? I do it aswell. If I see a group of Russians in min ap joining a group battle I join in full enchant just to kick some ass. Why? Because I can. You really think going afk and "burning" a few k's to a enchanted set is something they care about? If it is a rare set, then agreed.
If you want to do Groupbattles in min AP, create a clan, invite friends who'd want to join (you can invite 100 + in matter of weeks) and make group battles for that clan. That way you"ll never have anyone breaking the rules.
You have no idea how fun it was in 4*4 autobattles to join in full enchant and for once get rude mails from Russians who faced me in min ap. Exactly what i think. Also now that we have AI to control our troops if we go afk, i reckon you are only affecting yourself badly. | To respond to unnamedlord, I completely agree with you because technically its not allowed to say anything against mods, admins, game mechanics, game play, game improvemnet or crib about it, we have all done thousands of rule infringements, only in the forums itself to tell the truth!
As for the TS's question, well ... yes it is wrong, becasue it has been mentioned before that the fact that u describe min Ap or Full ap need not mean the others are to follow it, you writing it does not make it mandatory and thus you are liable for punishment.
I don't say its right but its the rule, it has been discussed before.
I mean half the threads are long string violations, improper punctuations etc, I mean we are in a grammar class here keep that in mind. And frankly i do not know the need for these gramatical punishments becasue well

but i stopped mainly for these reasons
1. No guild points
2. very Bad exp fsp ratio
3. unbalanced team cause someone join with full arts of Enchants
4. Takes too much time in high levels | I believe that min AP rules SHOULD be followed. Min AP/OA is extremely easy to understand, therefore people should do the morale thing and actually go with it.
However, this game is Lords of War and (MONEY). Money being a key factor in the name. If you're rich, then you have more to spend on battlegear. If you're not as rich, then you're more likely to lose.
I would like to see the ruleset implemented where you physically can't join if you have higher than Min AP. However, I'm not sure that will ever happen, especially as in the rules it says something about it just being a request, not that it HAD to be followed. | ipsen, to answer your question: i think morally it is ok.
Without any doubt it is better than cursing and yelling.
Autocontrol does take the pun out of afking though.
I too dislike fully geared people joining min AP battles.
When you disregard a request for min AP and join a group of min-AP players, you take the fun away for everybody else for your own pleasure.
In my book this classifies such a person as evil (or extremely inconsiderate at best.)
It is allowed to join free-for-all in full AP, it does not mean you have to.
It is allowed to play loud music until 22:00... it doesn't mean you have to.
It is allowed to yell at a starving hobo while eating a burger... it doesn't mean you have to. | there is a reason why most people don't do GBs.
if you're low level, you should spend the time to level up your HG, Mg, TG so that when you start doing GB you have a competent build.
as for higher levels (cl11+) you should be able to afford full AP battles so you should do CG. remember that this is lords of war and MONEY.
if you can't afford it, you're doing something wrong!
in the old .com years before CG, you didn't have a choice but to play GBs and back then, the solution for people not following combat rules was to play with people who respect GB requests and have a guild for it. but after CG was introduced that became redundant.

as for the question of morality, yes, if someone consistently doesn't abide by GB requests, he's a X (use your imagination to replace X!) |
