For chaos magic pvp, dark elf is the best choise, no doubt about that.
And with might build and shrews, there's a whole lot of hunts and mercenary guild quests that suddenly become easy.
personally, i would change to demon (duh.)
Demon and necro offer the most different play styles within 1 faction.
And... for demon, elf is by far the worst enemy.
My first main was wizard, i played it until lvl11. boring. (cast your best spell with hero and flee with gargoyle. Every game the same thing.
The most excitiment comes from checking the inibar (do magi get their turn before enemy shooters, or after?)
Do not change to wizard, you will regret that.
Hunts Mg and Events ---> you want Dark Elf | well everyone is saying de is great for hunts and mg, well, whats wrong with elf? at lev 10 when u get gmb and summon phantom, and later on treefolk and anchorites you will be insanely strong.

yeah, and de is the exact same thing! hit and run as far as you can. thats the only setup u have as de n hunts. for elf, u can be holy elf, or nature elf with phantom, make gmb and efk ur main troops, make gmb and anchors ur main troops, make sprites ur main troops(in case of slow creatures, but a lot of them, otherwise just gmb and anchor) and sometimes for harder large creature hunts even use last breath talent and sprites. also for ranges u can either be charmer or maybe elf with tactics and/or last breath. elf is THE BEST in hunt, in some rare cases, such as swordsmen, second only after de. but trust me, its the one with most options. also in mg u will have no problem. btw charmers are one of the best in pvp, especially minor tournaments and also great for TG.
if u had been a wiz i would have suggested to go ahead and change to some other faction but i would never suggest u to waste ur money and change from elf. its a great faction and gets better every level! | | go for barbarian, it has 3 alt faction. and we have too many elves already | @23
i bought full barb castle till lev 10 and played it as an alt faction in pvp. it is only useful if u wanna play pvp with enchants, boars r great, but otherwise no.

It's Hard to say since Charmer elf rapes all factions mentioned above(especially ddemon , whose temptress gets whiped even before getting there turn) .
I would suggest you to stay elf , it's good in pve and charmer is very strong in pvp.
Though if you wanna change , I'll suggest you to wizard , Coz battlewise wizard is one of the strongest faction in the game history , either might or magic. | | If you do plan to change into another, then I suggest that change into one where FSL difference won't harm you much. So that you can still compete in things like Hunts, ST, CG etc. I felt that barb was such a faction and so I became a barb. Maybe knight is another (knight please confirm), but factions like wizard definitely need FSL. | (especially ddemon , whose temptress gets whiped even before getting there turn)
lol @ DDems who rely on temptresses. Play against real opponents instead. | | charmer sure does fairly well in pvp. but again guys, he wante pve, not pvp so i dont think he needs to change faction. |
