Base on the battle
wail of nethereworld? what does it do?
It decrease Deal damage to all enemies(or all living creature) within 2(or may be 3) tiles
Damage deal is equal to 3*N

I was effectively doing no damage to them :(
Wail of the Netherworld
Heals target undead stack for 3 hp. All adjacent (to target undead stack) living creatures lose 3 hp each which are transferred to target stack.
So, it's a healing ability with damaging part and draining hp as well.
Regarding your battle in particular, when 3 ghosts used this ability to heal another stack of 1 ghost:
• target stack had 1 creature, 20/21 hp
• after healing it got 3 creatures, 5/21 hp => 27 hp were healed total
• there were invaders and shamans nearby as living creatures. Each one of them got 9 damage (3*3)
• so, 27 healing from Wail of 3 ghosts = 9 hp ('healing' part of the Wail) + 18 hp (9+9 hp drained from invaders+shamans)
Also I'd like to give you some pieces of advice as an extra =)
Ghosts have 35% dmg reduction to physical damage, yes. But skeletons - have 50% dmg resistance to ranged damage. So you really shouldn't have been shooting skeletons with your centaurs...
Also, when and if you take retal from one ghost with 1 goblin - why would you want to hit _another_ ghost with your invaders right after that...

Nobody knows what we may receive after the event - Likely an achievement, not necessarily an artifact.

what seems an approximate rate of enchants per artifact - I am wondering whether to use my existing part enchanted arts to try and have them improve.
Obviously this will cost more than just using the shop art, yet won;t gain the advantage of the enchant in battle. The trade off would be gaining additional enchants to them. The balance of whether it is worth it comes down to the rate of enchantment.
Anyone give any figures of battles fought to enhchantments gained? |
Always get enchant in every win.
However, you got 9 arts to flow that enchant.
so if you win 1/9 chance to land on your specific arts. |
| That fits, I have won everyone so far and had a 1 or 2 point increase on one art. However if these are on higher level enchants it is worth a greater equivalent number of elements - so figure it is worth it. I am seeing some people doing repairs being rather booked up in a bit! |
My 8*5 enchanted bow is now F10I8E8A8W8. So i would recommend wearing your enchanted arts.
If I give my bow on rent to someone who then uses it in these combats, then will the person i rent also be getting enchants for me? :D |

In the announcement there is a part that google translate says "rented art will not be enhanced". So answer should be: no.
But I'm not sure translation is right, it might mean art rented from the shop are not enhanced.
If anyone tried to do the battle with the set received on the 1st-3rd of march, did you get any enhanced? |
Thinking things through, if it doesn;t work with renting them, you could simply "sell your art to someone else", then they could sell it back to you for the difference in equivalent rent value as it will have depreciated by the number of uses.
In this way if you are canny people could maximise the enchants on a few items, or compensate for the fact that part way through their set of improved arts had to go in for repair and were not ready till later
I am presuming this is "legal" though wait for someone to say otherwise. |
