Thats strange.. because till now my score is 6/6 , and all AI had normal recruit count ( or hardly +1-2 troop difference )
But yes AI is playing smarter
I feel it was made to test the strength of AI, for problaby further balancing. By the way, I'm not sure, but after 2-3 loses, I got a very weak enemy, so it might be dynamical balance.
may be for after four lose ...still tough enemy :)

Update to the event on .RU

Heroes! Since we have updated the AI in the game, the fights against Alec's warriors are both complicated, yet interesting. Now, the enemy will be more flexible and adapt to you. If you are defeated before the enemy, gather your thoughts and try again. Fights will take place initially with a reduced complexity and further complexity will be adjusted according to your victory or loss.

So essentially saying that if you win, the difficulty increases. If you lose, the difficulty decreases. From what I can tell.

Also, the part where the AI adapts to you is interesting. I decided to take Dominion of Fire into battle - Got myself a Holy Knight opponent who had the fireproof talent. So dominion of fire was pointless. So I guess that's what they mean adapting to you. ;)
So adapting means cheating? :s AI already cheats enough ...

Anyway, I had a hard time as red demon, so now as dark demon it's a lot better. But if AI keeps adapting, I don't think I can win against all factions.

It sure is a challenge :) I had a bad run today - 3 wins, 7 losses. But it is nice to know that there is the possibility of reduced difficulty when I have lost enough. The difficulty of the opponents has had me trying a number of different builds and strategies. Tomorrow I will start my attempts as Holy wizard - If that doesn't work out, I will be switching to dwarf to see what I can do there :D
It would be nice if we could fight against only those factions remaining, so we could finetune our builds to what we can expect, or we could try a different faction / class.

Well, I guess the key will be to change build, class and faction enough so you can eliminate another opponent from your list. Or maybe we have to be lucky that the enemy uses a build that you're good against.
Can someone tell me how the hell this AI get so much stat?

Dominion of magic
This ability is available to Battlewise wizards knights instead of Mini-artifacts. It increases their attack and initiative by certain amount depending on their Spell power and Knowledge parameters. The effects are:
[0.3+0.03*(FSL)]*[(Spell power)+(Knowledge)] bonus attack;
[0.1+0.01*(FSL)]*[(Spell power)+(Knowledge)]% bonus initiative.

Overall this event is quite good..But the number of troop still needed to be adjusted
It seems that there are multiple builds for each faction / class. So if you lose (hard) against one build it doesn't mean you can't win next time. I lost hard against attack DE, but then later I faced defensive DE twice and won both times.

14/20 after first day, 7 "factions" remaining, of which 4 that I didn't face yet. So seems this is going quite well after all, at least after switching to DD.
And yeah, they have insane stats. They usually have 4 stat points more than me. For this they need HG8, MG6 and CG3. First two are common on level 15, but the combination with CG3 is very rare. And it's surely not average stats for my level :D.
for Lord Fosgeen:
hg7 mg6 cg2 is standard for normal lv15 regular cg players (notice that cg3 do not give you extra stats).
some of them would have hg8, while some have cg4, but never combination of those two.
