So this is their faction ability, I guess?
necro altgrade has weaker troops

Do they? On the HoMMV site (http://www.heroesofmightandmagic.com/heroes5/toe_necropolis_creatures.shtml) 4 out of the 7 are classed as being stronger, but they will balance them out through numbers so no worries :p
The Leghtariz ability of Dreadlords won't be that bad if admins give the new class luck talent(to us Soldier's luck)
but still the downside would be it doesn't work on undead,elemental,mechanical
If you compare Dread lords and Vampire lords...

Dread Lords are more or less like Blinding Unicorns now with Life Drain and Teleport. With an increased speed, these creatures can be a pain for shooter factions like Elves and Knight (Xbow build) as a single open entry means a dreadlord will block your troop, and we have seen that they dont die easy.

Finally necro will have a retal taking unit that can take retal, run away, and hit later to regain its life back.

Comparatively I find the dreadlord a lot better, in a one on one situation, it can kick serious butt if it does a lethargizing hit and deals max damage over and over without being retaliated. Phew... N dun forget, the hero can raise it like "ANYTHING".. literally... :P:P
