Do never touch ST for winning
Other Tournaments, U can win.(may not get prize but still can win)
Just ignore other players who donate the game

If you don't have Diamond Upgrades, on the DU levels you wont win a survival tournament. It's that simple.
You can have great tactics,but there will be other people who are also tactically good with DUs, and they will beat you.
Accept this. You are playing a game For Free. If you decide to pay for the game, then in the DU levels, you get the advantage.
I just use survival tournament to improve my FSP in my weaker faction in Min arts. I get a rubbish score, but even a bad Survival Tournament fights give you a fair few FSp and the ratio is decent. |

maybe, only if that tier creature is not very crucial on that combat lvl.
usually DU get first places.
and that is ok, because they pay for what they get.
every even lvl they have no advantage, use it.
and do watch replays, people are making miracles.
here is one good example, he is DU,but i bet 99% of people cant make that even with DU

| Your best bet is too build up your Merc guild, hunter guild, labor guild and compete in tourneys just for fun and practice until you get to a level with out Diamond upgrades and then go for the gold. |

Here is the full combat of the player who scored 46th, enough to win a portion of the incentive prize. As you can see, they do not have DU. However, their tactics were very different from yours.
As a general rule, Morale is better in Survival than Luck, because if Luck triggers, it can end a round before you want it to. It also makes it more difficult to calculate damage -- which of course is much easier now with the Native Damage Calculator.
So I don't think the post-merge Tournaments suck. They are better than ever, except back in the day when there was no Lightning Tower, no Orbs, and everyone had 7 attempts. |
| I also just noticed that you are not far from lvl 8. Just hunker down and save cash so you can get all the lvl 8 upgrades and then when you get to lvl 8 kick some rear. |

| I do fine in ST's... I try in 3 or 4 factions and get incentive every time, last tourny I even got 2nd! And that was agianst fsl 10 elves who have thief 7 guild+ wheareas i am only 8 in elf and 0 thief guild XD |
Don't talk about DU in general. As a lvl 6-7 DE you can't compete for top places without shrews, but at lvl 9 DU is not at all that important for DE. Watching replays of the medalists of your own lvl is the best way to improve I think.
I like ST:s much better after the merge. |
