Or you can simply state it in your profile what is your previous nickname, would be easier | | gr8 idea | | +1 | | +1 it's nice idea! | Since there are many of the same ID already existing that would need a change in the player searching system. Not at all. At most the search will produce 2 results.
1) The .ru player with character name
2) The .com player who used to have that name before merge (would show new name)
It is all very well going to someone's profile and checking their transfer log for: 2013-01-22 19:31: Arrived from overseas Empire, combat level: 13, previous id#233504, previously known as: DEATHisNEAR IF you know their new character name.
If you only know their old name though then how would you "easily" find them (without name search)? | | +1 | | +1 |
