Same here. Even I shall be quitting the day we merge.
That's what I meant. When they "merge" the servers, they will just (hopefully) transfer .com characters to .ru and then just shut .com down. If I wanted to play on ru I would have created a character there a long time ago. I really don't understand why people even want the merge to happen. If they wanted those events so badly, then they can create an account right NOW.

I (and others I think) want the merge to have the events, but not lose our accounts. I wouldnt start again in .ru, doing 10 enroll 1 hunt. Probably, no one want to lose the accounts they already have. But for me, this server is lacking in comunication and updates. Arctic was here to solve this problems...
Also, I dont want one big thing every month, but some small events (as halloween, valentines) could happen more often. And, it is already one year with no official events (STs are not the same thing) be it the small minor tournament or the big dwarf war. This is just my opinion, though. | Before 6 months you could had set a ru account and then you could doing 10 enroll 1 hunt with it. You would had 1800 enroll points. I know it is lower than your established accounts here but you should also consider that you can buy a tgi there for 580k (current min price). That is if you want to enjoy ru server, as it is now.

And what's more? Let us suppose that the merge happens. Do you think after that the admins will carry out promotion of lordswm.com server? I don't think so. In that case, the number of .com players will keep decreasing and decreasing. I don't wanna play in such a game. | Don't post hate comments

Everybody has the right to their own opinion even if its completely different than your own. Personally I love to play on .ru and on .com and I am looking forward to the merge. I want the merge for a variety of reasons. To get my Main to .ru would be nice. To get a better translation of things (be able to control click on Alt demon upgrades in current event to read their abilites). To get the events and attention that .ru gets. I do understand the point that it would be better to build and invest in .com, but I guess I just dont believe that will happen. The merge with .ru seems like the next best thing. | And that's what I have been saying over and over again. With the time people are just wasting talking, they could already have made a new "perfect" account on ru with high gold, fsp, or whatever selective specialty they wanted.
Well, I'm not one of that people which want a perfect account, my main aim is TGI. I know we could all create accounts in .ru, but here and there, things aren't so different. And as every thing takes time, I don't have that much to be logging here and there...
Sure, you can't create such an account overnight, but we're talking about years here. How many years has Arctic been gone? How many years will it take admins to merge the servers, introduce MCs, introduce Clan Wars, turn the practice tourny known as ST into an event, etc? Yes, I said years, because pretty much in every case it has taken years after an "announcement" has been made.
I completely agree with you. Everything here is not that fast, and it would be a good point of merge, we would get more agility and quickly answers for our problems.
If you don't count halloween, valentines, and xmas events, then this one year is nothing. Dark Age I and II lasted over a year each. Also during this one year of no official events we had updates and an introduction of a new faction. This is huge. Compared to history, this is already more than expected. Sure I hope for more events, updates, and implementation of most of the ideas already listed. But realistically this year's activity is already above expectations (and past history), so I'm happy if it can continue like this.
I count halloween, valentines and xmas, but not as official events. I'd say it is more like a scheduled event (dunno if it is right word, sounds ok in my main language), as it happen every year. I like them, but an official one, for me, would be something that we don't have a date to expect (it to happen).
Also, I really liked the new faction, but it isn't balanced with others, in some levels. I'm happy with the things we had and I think many players liked it too, so maybe it is time for more activity? | I don't wanna play in such a game. then get lost from here:) simple

Err... .com forum already exists; don't really need to do anything; not that making an extra forum is hard anyway.

I highly doubt that poll would ever take place. If it were to take place it would be nice for Admins to reveal more details about the merge first. Such as we plan on doing X with the battle chat and Y with the forums, characters on both servers having the same name will be taken care of by implementing XY and we do or we do not plan on addressing the FSP gap between .com and .ru. --- I highly suspect the admins are addressing these issues as part of the normal merge which is why Im looking forward to it. | | At least we know that we'll keep the english interface and the english forum. Where does it say that? I doubt we will get an english interface, but I hope we will at least get an english forum.

Uhm, that won't happen.
1) Admins are always scarce on the details.
2) Even if they release any details at all, it is almost always after they do the update/event (merge). |
