Authorfortification
What about large creatures? Technically they cover 2 tiles per movement (straight line). So if you move 4 spaces forward then you covered 8 tiles. Does that mean they get 80% reduction?lol :P

What about creatures with multiple strikes? Does the damage reduction cover the first strike only or all of the strikes?
Good question... I have no idea.

i header double\triple strike considered as one turn attack(move) so it may affect all strike

I'm not sure why this is even a question. The sentries' ability affects only attacks against them. It doesn't summarily affects all attacks by the attacker.
If you read the ability's description, it says, "Damage taken by this creature from enemy attack is reduced by 10% ...". It doesn't say, "Damage dealt by the attacker is reduced by 10% ..." That sounds very clear to me.
Im sorry i can't follow your logic.

Damage taken by this creature...

Wouldn't the creature (sentries) suffer ALL the strike in a single turn if that creature has enough hp?

So are you saying that the sentries will receive damage reduction on ALL strikes?

only melee will get damage reduction... not all damage tough.... shooters still can do full damage :P

They have large shield, it means 50% of damage for they. And, if they are out of range, just 25% =)

And, I've experienced that the reduction is for both strikes of normal wolf riders, and so are for the upgraded.
The fortification works on all attacks if you have movement on it.10% per tile. so we can say if you move 8 tiles your damage is reduced by 80%. so you will deal more damage when you are closer.

as for mohini's question: no, large creatures movement is no different from small ones. it's like saying a bus moves more than a car in the same distant. you can check the distance between your troop and the sentries.
for post #24: if all your strikes are with movement: Yes
Wouldn't the creature (sentries) suffer ALL the strike in a single turn if that creature has enough hp?

What creature can do more than one attack against a single stack in a single turn? Why are you asking about scenarios that don't exist?

only melee will get damage reduction... not all damage tough.... shooters still can do full damage :P

That's kind of implied in the ability's description. Shooters don't have to make any movement to attack (they cover 0 tile), so of course they would do their normal damage.
ok. Im talking about wolf raiders. triple strike. As a barbarian, I noticed that combat readiness affects ONLY the first strike. So i hit harder with the first strike than the last 2 strike.

I watched my battle with sentries and I notice I did less damage on the first strike (404). As against 440 on the second strike.

curiously, he did the same damage on the first strike 404. We had the same attack parameter. He did a 460 damage on the second strike.

@Geryon
If you cannot understand my question then please let the others answer. Kellendros and Mohini got it right but their answers are inconclusive.
Ah, I see. You're asking about consecutive attacks, not simultaneous attacks.

In that case, the second attack is made when the attacker is already next to the sentries, so I don't see why it would be affected by Fortification.

(for small creature diagonal move =1.5 tile)

404 and 466 don't look much difference(if wolf move 5 tile,doubt about corner move)

Luck befalls Wolf Riders!
Wolf Riders deal 34 damage to Mountain sentries. 2 perish.
Wolf Riders deal 21 damage to Mountain sentries. 2 perish.

First damage with luck 34 (so, something around 17, as luck double the damage) and the second strike was 21.

His attack was 17 and my defense 18. If someone is willing to calculate the damage, it would be great. But I think both strikes got reduction.
As a barbarian, I noticed that combat readiness affects ONLY the first strike. So i hit harder with the first strike than the last 2 strike.
this is true since
"The damage increase is cumulative for every stack independently, it resets after each attack of the stack.".........> {it resets after each attack of the stack}

@34
I think that logic would mean that the second strike of the wolf rider/raiders is different from the first strike distance wise. Therefore the second strike is not affected by the fortification ability?

This is a wrong battle. The sentries don't have the Fortification ability.
However, it appears that Mohini is correct, that all three of the raiders' attacks are subject to reduction. I took a look at some other battles.

Just try to stand beside them and try to attack by not moving to another tile
