Roulette is high-speed change of gold balance. If you don't play it when you are rich, you lose gold massively, even when you use good strategies. I didn't believe this when I first heard about it, but it's a fact.
You should put some standard priorities in the game, before you do other things. My advice in your priorities is :
2 sets of min AP in your inventory at any time.
1 set of full AP in your inventory. (If you take part in events or tournaments)
