such a small playerbase and you want to thin it even further by reporting all gold beggars? I would rather see the beggars go (or stop begging) than our honest new players who leave in disgust after being scammed and seeing the scammer gets away with it.
re: Niranjan2009 : Sorry but how was I to know if it wasn't real? I don't tknow you and have hardly talked with you (if ever). Yours was one of 4 similar mails I got yesterday and I just reported them all without paying too much attention the names.
I used to ignore these mails or delete/blacklist but around a week ago changed my policy to report ALL and made this info very prominent in my profile. The reason? (As above) While I am not going to fall for these scams we have a lot of new and/or younger players who have/will. These unpunished beggers are a cause of people leaving our server.
If you dont report them (and blacklist instead), then it just becomes more of a problem and more honest people suffer. If you do then the fines in their logs are a warning to other people they ask for gold from to see. It may also help some scammers to sort their act out and start playing within the rules. It will also discourage other people begging.
And yes ... no names here please. |

Anyway, i always explain rules but this does not stop them at all and i must admit that they ignore my kind explain and warn... Still spamming and begging others...

Indeed "Its a routine for me....delete block" does sort your problem, at least for that one account, until he uses his multi to ask, the next beggar comes along, etc.
I can understand people thinking "well I'm all right", but what about the other guy?
• The guy who gets next mail : He has to "delete block" too? and the next ...
• Thu guy who falls for it : He has probably lost most of his gold, may well just quit game? creates a report and gets blocked anyway for loans with interest.
• The guy who is begging : He carries on sending message after message (with all his accounts). Maybe he doesn't know it is illegal, maybe he does but enough find a victim to make it worth while and there is ZERO incentive to stop as no one reports him.

people sometimes play roulette and lose all gold and end up in begging for upgrades or for arts etc...
Even in my case, i dont play roulette in higher level(i think after level 6 or 7), but i desperately needed more than 50K for upgrades sometimes.
this is the 90% to 95% cases in our server. even more.
if we have patience and knowledge... then we can reply and help them i mean advice them.
if not, Delete and Block the author.
Blocking account or penalizing seems cruel.
