Diablo is not a strategy game. It is a hack n slash game and it is super fun.

People really underestimate the strategy needed for d3... You can't solo hell without a decent one, let alone inferno. And heaven forbid you consider moving onto hardcore.
You have 6 abilities out of dozens of options, with 4 runes for every one of those options, and then you need to build a entire set of equipment for that single setup. Hack and slash lasts until hell, sometimes until inferno. |

@26. For certain beat em ups you have to remember an insanely complex key combination to be really good. That doesn't make it strategy.
At high difficulty in most hack and slack, you need to optimise your hack and slash play style. Optimised hack and slack is not strategy. :-) |

| Im in act 3 of hell. Optimized hack n slack is the perfect way of describing it. Excited to hit level 60 so I spend the money I have saved on some good gear. |

Just because on higher difficulties there is some strategy involved does not mean the game is a "strategy game" Im now in Inferno Difficulty. The game is difficult, but I still dont classify it as a strategy game. I still think of it as optimized hack n slash even though there is some strategy involved. |
| Its a hack and slash game, inferno offers a very small amount of strategy, which isn't so bad. The replay value on D3 is so bad, it is more similar to WoW than being similar to D2, D2 still has the best replay value. Even right now, many still play D2 instead of D3. But i find the game fun overall. |

| I only played witch doctor up to about lvl 4 so I dont know much, He does have some summons like the necro in D2, but he seems less reliant on summons and has some other cool attacks as well. --- Im surprised at how quickly im getting bored with Diablo 3. I thought for sure I would play it for a year at least. |
