if participation cost is lowered, more player will join the tournament.
reduce tournament frequency (one tournament each 2 hours), will attract player to join.
I doubt if it is going to work. Players who doesn't win a lot will quit because it's not profitable. A lot of players join in the past month just because it's new.
Same thing for CG last year. A lot of participation in the first few months, then after that few people play. |

That seems like the best option to me. On another site I play the host bracket tournaments like this. If there aren't enough players to begin on time, we go for 15 minutes overtime. 15 minutes isn't a huge time to wait. I would certainly like to join the tournaments, haven't had the chance to play in a gold deck since they are often starting in my off hours, but I don't want to get stuck either. :( |

Scarcity makes something appealing.
Chances are if they make Golden Deck tourneys 1-2 times per day (till IF our server again grew to the days we had >1000+ online), then chances are, players will start jumping back to join, instead of the 'I-wait-for-you, you-wait-for-me' syndrome that we are seeing now. |
i request players not to join in golden deck.
if you join, then you will be ther for hours, even days. which will spoil other things in game for sure.
one more request to all LORDS.
i can see some players stuck in golden deck for long time, those who are interested can post here.
we all can join in that tourny in same time and end that.

well the real problem is the same that happent on .ru.
i bet there is alot of players like me there want to play the tournements but cuz you can get stuck in them for houers, i dont join only when they are almost full..
i bet there are like 30 players or more thinking the same .. so how to get os all to take a leep of faith and join fast ? :) |
