for CBS moderation, i have no comments on him. you can always discuss/complain/talk/refer to admin.

come on give him a break, he is working, working really hard. Online almost 16 hours per day (few can beat my online time :p)
I havent seen so many blocked / punished in last 3 months than rest of my almost 3 years on this server.
well, i m not gonna reveal how the keeper do the job. as a keeper, we still have some internal rules to follow. you can just make all the guess you want.
I want to beleive above line is not our two (3?) keepers fault ( or better word shame), its the admins who insist not to reveal keeper internal rules.

Is it too hard to do 1 less ambush per day without possiblity of wasting time of an innocent walker for almost no gain to him ?
my evaluation to that method : Top player beeing disrespectfull to community and setting bad example.

I think both Pang and cantbestopped are doing a good job. If anything, I'd say I've seen a couple rush fines where they may not have been warranted. But it's a very small percentage of what they have to do. Overall, I think they are doing great.

naapa92 I don't want to offend you in anyway but you complain about 10 times more than anyone else on this forum. I am not saying your complaints are unwarranted, I make no judgment on that. It is my recollection that at some point a whole MC guild(Guardians or Russia) with 200+ people called you out after you bickered with them. So, now you want to pick another fight with LoS? Because that's what you are doing. Instead of using proper channels and complaining about cantbestopped as a keeper to admins which has to be done in private and not on the forums, you are trying to insult the whole MC. You may want to take this into consideration. |

But totally agree that both Pang and CBS do a good job.
For quite sometime now its been clear that a few people are fined for afk and a few people get away with it. Both the keepers follow their own ethics but i haven't seen any partiality shown.
When pang deals with his complaints he considers everyone equal and so does CBS.
The only difference is pang does not give a penalty for afk and CBS does.
So the accused can get away for afk with nothing just depending on the keeper dealing with the topic.
Im not gonna comment on the LOS issue.
As of now the keepers are fine and im not sure if we really do need another keeper. But it would be more convenient to have keepers who do not belong to any MC to avoid controversies.. No offence to anyone. |
There should only be 1 set of rules that governs any one particular offense.
Yes, different people (Keepers) have different opinion of the severity of an offense, and the penalty imposed may differ slightly, but it's dumb-founding to see when one player gets a penalty for an offense, and another player don't, for the exact same offense, under the same conditions.
Let's take AFK as an example.
I was watching an ambush of a friend many moons back, and we were actually chatting on SKYPE. He told me during battle that his Lords connection was laggy and clicking on battle commands did nothing. He missed a few turns at the beginning of battle coz of that, and then his connection totally dropped off halfway through the ambush. By the time he got his connection back, he already lost by AFK timeout.
And some time later, he got a penalty for AFK during a battle (!?). I was there and he definitely didn't AFK. No way anyone watching that fight could justify it as an AFK battle. If I was him, I would be mad too. And so would most/all of you.
I may not be an IT geek, but I know enough that just about the only way (unless it's written in battlechat) a Keeper can know for 'sure' if a player is AFK or not, is to be in the real-time battle.
So to avoid abuse and misunderstanding, a Keeper who's watching a battle should leave a short message in battle chat to verify he was indeed watching the battle. Something like "Pang/CBS was here" near/at the end of the battle.
If this is not done, then a Keeper should not penalize a player for AFK coz there is no concrete proof that he was indeed present during the battle.
The present system allows a Keeper the possibility to penalized a player weeks after a battle and says, "I was there watching that battle". A Keeper leaving a short message in battle chat to prove he was there will dispel any would-be accusers that a Keeper is abusing his powers, and being biased towards certain players or clan.
Just my thoughts to make LWM a better place for all, though I highly doubt this would be implemented. :)

Okay, lemme get things clear once and for all to prevent such a blatant lies in the future.
When doing my job as a Keeper I do not care what clan does the player represent. At all. LoS players were fined by myself when proven guilty as well as any other players. No exceptions for anyone. There isn't and shouldn't be such a thing as a 'clan loyalty' for someone who's doing a Keeper\Mod job. At least that's how I always understood it and followed.
I think naapa was refering to our conversation back in those days when he PMed me and have asked to watch an ambsuh he was in because he thought that the player who ambushed him was to go AFK intentionally. I always use the very same methods to determine the fact of a bad sportsmanship so I used them that time as well and haven't found any proofs of that player going AFK intentionally. That player was TaQQ. So I've told naapa that I have not found any proofs of TaQQ going AFK intentionally (player went offline about 3-5 minutes or so prior to the battle started), but to prevent such a rediculous talks like the initial post of this thread I've told naapa to file his complaint and let the other Keeper state his opinion on that case as well. I'm not obligated to do that, I'm not obligated even to bother answering such a rediculous stuff but I'm tired of people trying to spread some lies about me on forums.
I'm doing everything that's in my power and everything I possibly can to help this game and it's community out and most of you guys criticizing me on public (which is actually against the game's rules eversince Keepers'/Mod's actions mustn't be discussed on forums but instead if a player thinks that a Keeper/Mod is doing something wrong should PM Secretary about that) don't even realize that.
