Is an estate really worth it though? Don't think any decent one will be available for less than 600-700k...that will take a long time to pay itself off, or won't it?
Any thoughts? |

yes, quite a long time. you have to make sure that you buy the estate in a populated sector. |

There is an option where you can set a price until which computer will automatically bid higher for you everytime somebody over bid you.
After reading my sentance even I can't understand it anymore :D |

cause you can automatize your bids. you set the upper limit for the sum you wish to stake and it automatically bids till. if the limit is achieved and you`re beaten by another player, the money will be returned. |

I don't think anyone gets an estate to "make it pay for itself" with rents lol...most buy it because they wish to personally use it.
IE. During special events when all estates are rented out you have your guaranteed room. IE. You want to use the 30 storage spaces there. ETC |
I hope people remember these rules too;
3.13.7. Additional characters are not allowed to interact with Estates in any way, i.e. buying or selling them (including betting on them on the auction), renting rooms, storing artifacts, etc.
3.13.6. Additional characters are not allowed to buy, trade or exchange rare/set artifacts and Thieves' Guild invitations(TGIs). |
