Wizard is one of the best factions at high racial if not the best.
TG -> Maybe L2P and try new things?
MG -> Everyone has troubles since new AI
HG -> Read Above
CG -> LOL? Other then elf the best PVP faction evar |
| IMO wizards arent weak because if u look at wiz at a different lvl they are one of the best. i have tried every faction using alts and wiz is the best |
| Wizard are strong actualy.They have more mana and spell power.In hunts Gargoyles is very good especialy with slow farmer.But also remember sometimes Knight is defeated by Wizard. |
Wizard magic built (destructive) have a big disadvantages in events. Thats a fact, but then you can play some other built.
The real problem with wizard lies much deeper. The transformation from heroes to lords have different affect on the different faction.
Other units become more important because of the recruitment and game mechanics. But every faction except wizard have the same feel to it. Wizard have a weird run and hide as their only weapon, that has and affect on the way they play and also makes them experience events and AI upgrade differently.
Other than that, I think the faction is balanced. TG is balancing itself everybody hits a roof in MG and HG, does it matter where the roof is (HG record can compete against same faction). In PvP wizard is balanced |

Yes Wizards have many weakness:
- weak against dragons in the Ridge of Hope,
- extremelly weak against Barbarians.
It is because of spell immunities and hight spell resistancies.
Also they are the only ones who use chaos magic, because Dark Elves and Demons don't have hunting bonus for damage of chaos spells.
That's all true for chaos Wizards, they are other builds, but nature Wizards are doable after level 14 (didn't try yes), and light Wizards are weak if they stand alone especially on hunts. |
well,in some things you are right that wizard is weak on your lvl,but dont worry,lvl 13 is boring for all factions
you reminded events-that i aslo didnt understand,why bonus to neutrals didnt work in these events,lets hope they will change it in the future

After reading all opinions: Yes, most of you are right. Level 13 might be the problem. And yes, I will have a party here when I finally reach level 14. ;)
But I still hope we will get some events in the future where chaos wizard can shine. ;) |

| Dark Elves shrews are completely worthless now too, the AI goes to the middle of the battlefield, and can reach everywhere so nowhere to run away with shrews. this update was stupid |
To return to Nutellas original post..
- Events: In the pandemonium event I used enchanted jewelry most of times to have even a little damage output with spells. Sure, I could have used a holy-might-build, but is this how a wizard is supposed to play?
This does frustrate me too, as a wizard has to use POOs to switch to might or holy builds to really be effective in events.
Than swallow another POO after the event to switch back to a magic build for MG quests and hunts. It does get expensive.... |

l sumhow agree with you that wiz are a little unpowered . im not a wiz but probably im right though it can be like situation "blind man is no judge of colours" for me .my friend told that wiz is very expensive n without arts it is basically a waste.
i strongly feel u should ask brilliant coz in my eyes he is the most experiencrd wiz . also u should have posted this when arctic was here coz for most admins it seems as if they almost hibernate when arctic is not here... |
