my last attempt was the best one untill wave 14: i reached wave 14 with nearly full troops (only 2 shrews killed)
but then, i had bad luck against spiders: 0 morale and 0 luck against them, they managed to deal 120 poison to DW and 40 poison to shrews (i played exacty the same way for the 14th wave at a previous attempt, with fewer units alive but with a bit more luck, and spiders didn't hit anything)
after wave 15 i was still in the race for the 1st place, but behemoths had morale too...finally, i had a lower score than at my 2nd attempt.
i didn't have time to play my 7 battles, i played only 4 of them.
i'm sure i could have taken the 2.000 more points needed to win the tournament, if only i had time to make 3 more attempts.
but 2nd place is not bad too, it will add a new icon on my achievements page :) |
