@Modi and Jedi-Knight. I know betrayal of allies is Modi's stock in trade. I've had a chat with a person or two that he allowed to enter his clan, but then throw them out. I was well prepared for betrayal or raids from the rebels or my so called allies that are with me to protect the Empress. I think I can trust Naviron at least. He knows law and loyalty is most important.
The empress has access to magics beyond your ken. That fledging recruit was actually one of your men we'd captured and cast illusions upon. I was hoping someone wouldn't stoop to killing the poor pawn caught up in all this. I at least hope you have the kindness to tell his family. We also know which side another traitor has gone to, Jedi-knight. |

Ahh.. lest you forget, my ignorant one. I AM a Jedi, trained and aided by the Force and a master of mind tricks. The Empress's magical 'prowess' does little more than the ability to cloud the judgment of weak-minded Lords.
The Jedi's Force vs The Empress's magic? Who is bed-ridden since dinosaurs once ruled the land? The answer is clear, my barbaric friend.

@34 Your 20 or so PMs you sent me would suggest you may be the obsessed one. While I'm no Ethereality, I'm not going to race up the levels just to run in to financial problems later, so I'm quite content with the amount of fighting I do.
@35 I've seen some of the level 4 spells. They make the Jedi tricks seem little more than cheap street magic. |
