20 i dont think he cares abt cheap ore when he just needs to stay online to sell it effortlesly. | for Barbarian-Fishy:
That, and the fact that TTF use the exact same personal avatar than a previous member of the "family".
Reincarnation, anyone? | Over three and a half thousand Ore on hand. Countless thousands of units sold through the market.
I don't think I've ever seen any character with that much Ore, not even the original "Family". Unless you count Admin characters.
Sure it would be easy enough to purchase from one of the more expensive mines (3600+ @ 20 units a time, still takes 180+ purchases, plus all those other Ores sold), but that would mean less profits. And if it was purchased from a more expensive mine there would be no real need to stockpile it to such a degree. The Ore could be bought at any time, because there is little competition for the more expensive sources of Ore.
But if it was being purchased from the cheapest Mine (with a script perhaps?), it would be necessary to stockpile as much as possible to make it hard for anyone else to buy Ore cheap enough to compete in Ore sale profiteering.
I still don't see why people would even think about cheating like this. They get away with it briefly, even for a moderate while perhaps, then their characters are blocked forever. If you like this game enough to play it in the long term, then cheating is basically a guarantee that all your efforts will be in vain. Why not play fair and have a character you can be proud of, one that will pass the test of time, rather than trying to get an unfair advantage and face a premature end.
Grunge | Kotrin, What family?
I simply like this giraffe.
With a head everything is all right? | Barbarian-Fishy, it's ok)
And I hope i'm are innocent.
:) | Grunge, The friend, and at you on the account more than one million gold. It is somehow suspicious!!! Whence at you it is so much money?
You can too from "family"?
WHETHER SILLY SUCH QUESTIONS TO SET? | @TTF Grunge has labourer's guild 7 and 2 developed factions. Not building up much castle and enrolling lots means cash comes in.
You have 4 factions that have a few faction points and thus I assume you have bought the buildings. You have labourers guild 5. Over 3000 less enrols than Grunge. You also have a huge roulette debt of just under $500K. Not to mention over $500K worth of ore. There's $1m right there.
I think your best choice is to stay quiet and hope this all disappears because every time you post, you just make it worse for yourself. | If you are looking for details of the "Family" you can find more information here - https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1885550.
It has been established that they were using scripts in all locations on the map over a long period of time. All these characters have been blocked recently by Lexa (Nice job BTW).
With these players *definitely* using scripts in all map locations, it would be difficult to build up such a store of Ore from the cheapest mine without also using a competing script. I suppose it could be done at times that those players were offline, but it would still be difficult competing with regular players to buy so much Ore. Alternatively, if you did acquire them from another source, that would be unusual. I would query how you intend to sell 3600+ Ore without a script in less than 6 to 12 months.
BTW - if you are interested, most of my money has come from having a good Labourers Guild Laborers' guild: 7 (5574) +2426. I was lucky enough to get to TG 4 before the rules were changed, meaning I got 2 TGIs from my original TGI purchase. I also made some additional money speculating on the change of TGI prices with the new TGI rules (https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1869373&page=1, see post 23). If I had been as smart as Kotrin and held the 2 TGIs that had been in my inventory for so long for just a little longer, I would probably have an extra million gold. However I didn't think TGIs would ever be worth more than 600K and had found the spaces used in my inventory to be highly annoying, so I sold them too early (D'oh!). | it is simply interesting to me that else players will think up.
What difference in what I store money.
What difference as I earn money.
I to someone in something disturb?
I always buy ore in capital where it is a lot of it. I don't have affairs to Ore pit in Silent Hill. There never there is no ore | 28
dont forget abt enchanter and blacksmith guilds too since he dont have many customers he uses repairing / enchanting his own stuff for example 200 smith points = 800k gold | What difference in what I store money.
What difference as I earn money.
That's the sort of reply I'm sure the "family" might have given. And you are right, it's not really any of my concern how you store or earn your money, as long it's done within the rules.
Iterestingly someone earlier in this thread posted that you had 3742 Ore. Right now you have only 3491 Ore. That's 251 Ore that you have sold in less than 5.5 hours. That would be easy if they were sold through the market, but you haven't had any Ore sales through the market in your logs for quite some time. Selling so much Ore to facilities in such a relatively short time is actually pretty hard to do. The Luck Amulet Factories want Wood, not Ore and the SoM Factory buys resources at prices low enough to cause a loss, so your usual purchases to fuel your market activities don't involve such large quantities of Ore (at least not without a corresponding loss selling to SoM factory).
Realistically with so much involvement with Amulets of Luck purchasing I would have expected an imbalance in favour of Wood rather than Ore. Especially when you have recently been selling Amulets of Luck at a loss, indicating that you are probably buying Amulets of Luck simply to enroll (2910 +1% Market tax = 2939 Gold to break even). With Wood so easily available at a good price in the same location as the Luck Amulet Factory, honestly, having so much Ore makes little sense.
it is simply interesting to me that else players will think up.
Perhaps it is more interesting what players notice. Recently there has been a spate of players using scripts to gain advantage over others. One of the biggest sources of these scripts (the "Family") has recently been blocked, making other possible script users activities more noticable. I originally thought that it was unlikely that scripts would be widely used on this server. After all, significant activity from particular players should be a fairly easy indicator to the Admins that scripts are being used. However the last few months have put my doubts to rest, and I no now *know* that scripts are used regularly on this server. Some of the indicating factors of script use are present on your character. It shouldn't surprise you too much that some may think there is a possibility that you are using scripts.
However, if this is not the case, then you really don't have anything to worry about. The admins (or their representatives) should be able to check your game activity and confirm that there is nothing untoward going on. I hope, for your sake, that this is the case.
Grunge | Grunge, exactly | And where I have put so much ore?
If you so notice much, can will answer this question? | TTF 3357 already .) damn you're fast on that nickel thing )))
i'm lucky if i sell 1 out of 10 tries with my finger on Enter button, using no more than 1 sec for that, while such speedy-gonzaleses are aroud ))) | 34
hes better then chuck norris. chuck norris can do only one thing at once but TTF can actualy do it on 2 servers at once!!!
http://www.heroeswm.ru/pl_info.php?id=2073731 | Well, since you ask, the only place those resources could be sold is to Facilities. If you sold them to players via market or transfer it would show in your transfer log. If you had constructed a new building in your Castle, that would also show in your Transfer Log. I suppose you could have bought some artifacts that required some Ore to purchase, but most of the Artifacts from the Shop don't need that much Ore to buy. And there is a distinctive limit on how many arts you can buy, namely your inventory space available.
IMO it is likely that the Ore has been sold to the Nickel Factory in East Bay. As everyone knows, the best Facility prices on the Map for Wood/Ore/Mercury are in the Nickel Factory in EB.
Hmmmmmm....... Considering your regular sales of Luck Amulets, I can forsee an interesting cycle of sales and purchases. Buy Nickel @ East Bay. Provides money for people to enroll. People enroll consuming Wood/Ore/Mercury. Sell Wood/Ore/Mercury to Nickel Factory. Buy Luck Amulet. People enroll consuming Wood/Nickel/Gems. Sell Nickel/Wood to Luck Amulet Factory. Sell Luck Amulet on Market for a small loss to complete the cycle. Profits from resource sales more than cover the loss from the Luck Amulet sales.
Would explain the large reserves of Ore/Mercury (Wood is easily and cheaply available in East Bay) and Nickel. Can also explain regular sales of Luck Amulets at such low prices. Perhaps the increase in your recent Luck Amulet sales are a direct result of less competition from the "Family"?
Grunge | marked_one:
well at least Chuck's can speak good english ))) but thats' what i'm talking bout, how a decent player can compeet against such elem's laundry. those guys are selling a ton per hour, while you berely can sell 10 of something it depends which they are run out of (not the case when 3000+ is on hand) | Grunge, congratulate.
All method here have described.
And what for to me 3000 +? All is simple. Not to run behind ore. Same it is logical. And I can buy a tree on a place.
Also what here the difficult?
Where here a script?
I quickly sell? On the laptop it is possible.
And all these conversations simply with envy. Someone goes to fights. Someone trades in the market. And I trade in resources. Everyone earns as is able. When someone trades, it has a stock of a subject of trade. Here and at me a stock of that, than I trade. | Hagakure, Yes i'm bad English. Also it is not necessary to joke. At all the lacks. | Really? So you need 3000+ Ore to make sure you don't accidentally run out of Ore when performing these transactions? Surely you'd notice long before that could happen?
Having such large reserves usually is only necessary when there is an automated process, like a script, that can sell so *many* resources that such reserves are necessary. Again, take a look at the "Family" https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1885550.
All these linked characters have far more Ore/Wood/Other resources than most characters. This was necessary to keep the scripts they operated from failing due to a lack of resources. Wouldn't want to give regular players a chance to make money after all.
I've tried selling resources to facilities for profit myself in such a cycle. It really isn't worth the effort because it's just not that easy and there are so many others competing with you. Not to mention that the consumption of resources is relatively low so it is hard to get more than a small portion of all the sales in one location. Especially when the enrolls are usually staggered over the hour and not totally concentrated at the beginning of an enroll cycle. I could make occasional sales, but nothing remotely like selling 250+ Ore in a few hours. IMO it would take supreme concentration and patience to sell 250+ Ore in 5.5 hours. Hour after hour of constantly hitting F5 and trying to fill in amounts before others can enroll or sell to the facilities themselves? That or a script. Considering we know that scripts are being run, I know which one I would be betting on.
Still, it's your character. People who use scripts have been detected and blocked before. Anyone who wishes to take their chances with getting their character blocked by running unapproved scripts is welcome to face the consequences.
