on wave 14 I now managed to kill:
3 / 3 titans
58 / 58 shrews
40 / 101 merc warriors
0 / 126 ghosts.
But I mean, even when I get there with a pretty ok army, as elf, it's fail mode. I came there this time with
18 bowmen (phantoms 0 arrows)

Dont get it VeDWoo, either you're very lucky with hit avoidance of phantoms + morale or with luck. I have the same setup as you, I use my druids to block out any dangers like you, I walk around with the shooters to regroup, like you. But no, 70 freakin k, I dont get it..

My phantoms are usualy not lucky to miss. You must think about positions, calculate next wave and play realy slow. I play usualy one or two attempts and each I play more than one hour.
If you are in wave 14 0 arrows, something is wrong. The waves before arent so hard, you dont need 32shoots... Generally you must beware of your phantoms (in this turney especialy in frenzied grifs wave) and block (or kill) all archers. You must save arrows to next waves...
Maybe Im good, but Im not best. Last turneys is not my best (I thought that motrun are lvl 11 and ssfsd dont play-they can beat me easily in past-but at present maybe not :-)) and only springfieren or tridge can get good score... |
Well, in the last tourney I ended up on fifth place. So not too bad.
And you're right, Im extremely careful with my arrows. The only problem is that this time, you have the frenzied griffins, as you mentioned, and I mean they are tough, the initative, the damage, it's tough, so I generally shoot down two of the four stacks.
Then you have the 138 zombies, which I try to kill of with sprites, but if they reach me I need to shot them down as well.
Then the 12th wave, with all the goblins, they have good initative and they're small creatures, so hard to block out, I generally spend some arrows there as well.
But I think my problem lies in wave 5, with the 62 appirations in 2 stacks. I always miss them end it ends up with me shoting them to death.. I hate Ghosts/Appirations...
Ill try to be even more concervative with the arrows, but it's darn tough.

I finished all my attempts and did slightly better. You've got more than enough tries to improve it. Believe me there is a space for better result as I did some mistakes. Just save enough guardians and beat 16th wave.
