I tend to believe that these forum suffer from too few moderators, not too many.
I completely agree with that. I can imagine me as a moderator, but there has to be much more forum moderators (cuurent number(7) is really insufficient), because I really wouldn´t like to shring my lwm activity to forum moderation:) |
I applied for a moderator position. I actually applied to become just a sage though. I may only be level 6, but I know a lot more about this game than some level 12s I would bet. By this I mean forum rules, game rules, game facts, IE, I know about mini arts, units, castle building and the rest.

Anyway, back to topic. Me thinks selection of mods should not be based on level, but more on history of average time logged in daily, and to a certain extend, age (don't think a 10-year-old would be suitable).

Im not applying either for Forum Moderator, but I salute the move.
We desperatly need more moderators and a team that can work together, at least :)

This thread is a great filter though. Anyone who's asked "how do I become a mod" instantly shows that they aren't qualified to be one.
For those asking for clarification, that's different, but there are a few "How do I". when it is clearly stated in post 1 what to do. The ability to not only understand English, but to take the time to read, and maybe re-read to make sure you have all the facts before you post. |
